There is no reason for his stable currency to have a price that goes up. Why didn't he just sell them at a fixed price until they were all sold. That would be a stablecoin, a digital reserve currency.

If the price goes up as people buy it, then its not a stablecoin, its a ponzi scheme that rewards early buyers and punishes late ones.
