If it’s actually high end that’s a steal, but I doubt it is. Tell me what makes it high end and I will tell you if you got scammed or not.

At that price including shoes it’s a mid-range suit at best, but since you said you got it at Brooks Brothers, you probably just paid like 2-3x what a low end suit should cost.

They're going out of business, that's why it was cheap. Not sure if it's their usual price or not. I love BB myself, exclusively for polos and chinos

it's a decent price for a decent suit imo. if you feel good about it then it's worth the price.

The secret is that as long as it fits your body really well and is stitched NOT fused it will be a good suit. Real high end suiting is like $2k plus.

designer =/= quality save for a few reputable brands, but even then they're usually marked up far more than the work and materials are actually worth. Harry Rosen, Armani, and Prada are shining examples of this. You'd be better off going vintage or local and finding a good tailor (they would also have the best recommendations). Good quality is hard to come by, but well worth the investment.

Checked user. Wouldn’t be surprised if they ripped me, I’m young and first time I bought a suit.
Everything was 30-50% off, but didn’t know if that was a gimmick or real. Makes sense.
Sports coat is stitched. Not sure how to tell with the other pieces.
Stitched. Sports coat is made of wool. Shirt seems like some sort of cotton polyester mix but doesn’t actually say. Shoes are a nice leather. I should have brought you anons with me, I barely know what I’m talking about. Not sure about pants or tie material but looks nice.

You've been scammed. If it was high end, it would be 1k+. Hopefully, it really is because if your client really is high end they will probably tell the difference. In the future, just get a good looking suit and get it tailored for your body. Also, not cheap fabric. A suit should last you through your entire life.

Seriously I’ve got a few suits some where expensive some where cheap. In London you can get a great suit in topman for £100 for the Christmas party.

Great suits in south east Asia if your there to get measured. You also have to know what cuts and fabrics are gonna look great in your city or you’ll look a fool. Fashion differs from city to city worldwide
