>If central banks were to drop gold as a reserve asset (more likely than most think) Your brain on buttcoin ladies and gentlemen, thinking that the 10 year fad will replace the millenia old gold chad
Also to the user asking about The Power of Gold - The History of an Obsession book, it's on Z-Library
Henry Roberts
We all hope user. Also, I am also the previous OP

I was thinking : it would be a good idea to insert some bibliography in /pmg description (economics, history, chemistry...). A dragon need to be educated too
There was user who tried to clean up the op a few months ago but it got ignored and remains the pile of link vomit that no one ever reads. Happy to suggest some books but it'll just get ignored because some tards dislike any change
Gabriel Thomas
It was me. Only the second edition (2004) is avalaible in PDF, I don't know what is changing beetween it and the first one, but there's no reason it won't be a good book too.

Sadly most of my gold/silver books are in French, but I will try to find some english ones (already have one or two, like Bernstein's)
Oliver Lopez
Found out the major difference beetween the two editions : the second have lot of beautiful pictures. Thank you user, I just downloaded it
Nathaniel Scott
I really, really like that image

Not sure specifically about the other markings but you're safe assuming that it is gold plated sterling, looks good to me.
I dunno if it's smart or dumb but I save the nice intact silver jewelry I get in scrap batches. For whatever reason I like the necklace chains, torcs and bracelets even though my wife and I don't wear any jewelry at all. Probably appeals to my inner Viking.
Silver. Gold is like a rich prep kid while silver is a scrappy nigger from the hood who will steal your cell phone
Blake Morgan
People read pastebin link dumps even less than the embeds. For new users, the way it is, is much easier and you can easily see what information is out there before you go to the links

Depends which one is backed by a blue water navy. The gist of the theory is gold is China/Russia, silver is US via JP Morgan.
Not quite sure yet about Box Weir's Chocolate Mountain theory but if it is true Silver is much more valuable.
But I hate to see my besties fight...betting on both, as all good draggos should.
Matthew Thompson
Enjoy mate, now that you know z-library exists you'll never have to buy a book again. Don't tell normies about it. That makes sense, apart from the fact that new users obviously don't read the clusterfuck OP anyway because they always ask questions that the OP already answers
Brandon Jones
I don't wear anything either but I do appreciate that it's the oldest form of personal security. Might one day get a necklace.
Nathan Jones
Very few books in french but I will improve my english with it, thanks again user, this website is puregold (no pun intended)
Nathan Hernandez
The annual In Gold We Trust reports are excellent. Rothbard's The Case for a 100% Gold Dollar is also good, along with What Has Government Done With Our Money? Ron Paul's The Case for Gold is great. The History of Bimetallism in the USA by J Lawrence Laughlin is a good if long read. je suis desolee mon ami, je parle un petit peux francais, ma femme est francaise et c'est dificile au trouver livres de economique en francais pour moi. bon chance! And yeah, i probably sound like a formal weirdo and I suck with the accents, australian keyboards make them difficult to input
Jacob Brooks
Weren't these prospector bars shown to have purity issues?

It's very unusual for a non-frog to try to speak french, so even if your french isn't perfect, it's already very nice from you to write some
That's why I'm trying to be fluent in english reading. I'm a student in art history, and a lot of books are in english too so I'm working on it. (sorry if my english is weird, I'm better at reading than writing it)
>I do appreciate that it's the oldest form of personal security
Personal financial security for sure, i don't have pics but have an ancient Bronze Age gold earring and a couple silver arm rings in the collection which predate any coins by nearly a thousand years, and far older pieces are well known.
The fundamental monetary nature of gold and silver is much more ancient and broad than struck Coinage, indeed bulk bullion (and bullion-jewelry) has has been and continues to be used as money, even though circulating precious coin is now centrally phased-out. The 2,500 year era of circulating struck precious coin money may be over, but the 8,000 year history of precious bullion money is still chugging along more bullish than ever.
I just don't see governments or inorganic dictates stripping humanity's collective, genetically-ingrained ancient dragonlust for precious heavy shiny.

Id say it looks more like an A4 mark and a quick google "925 or sterling or ster. will be marked for sterling silver items. ... means the item was plated 3 times; A4 means the item was plated four times"
Your english is great mate, far better than I would go on any french site, and I understand the feeling of being able to read much better than write. I often practice by browsing through fnac and I can read most of it, but writing a few sentences in French takes ages. I love visiting my wife's family and just listening to them speak, always feel like I learn so much about how words should sound. What's the precious metals game like in France? Do many people stack?
Kevin Fisher
Any anons know what this "925 A triangle" means?. I found this a few years ago and decided to inspect it. It looks like it is gold plated right?
Doesn't attract magnets and biting it heavily barely leaves any marks.
I'm guessing by the decoloration it is 0.925 gold plated?
I thought there was some confusion about their gold before, not sure about the silver though. They're hand-poured so weights tend to be slightly on the overweight side, a gram or 2 over, one kilo I got back weighs 1,008g which is an appreciable extra bit.
Please share if you've heard more, I was going to take another load of scrap to them in a few days but if they're cutting corners I need to go elsewhere.
Charles Foster
Oh shit I didnt see you answered me, thanks user.
My google resuslts were showing nothing. Thank you very much user!

Very few, it's quite seen as a "complotist" thing, even the boomers are against it. In Europe, we're part of the smallest stockers I think. Hopefully, there is beautiful gold/silver coins, with low premium (especially on gold coins)
