Look at the top ten, now cut out bullshit like tether because stablecoin. BCH is a btc ripoff, nogo. Litecoin too. Xrp is a joke. Cardano kind of fits in the same boat as xrp but I'd buy that before I would ripple. Bnb is dependent on binance but I could see it going either way honestly, risk vs reward.
That leaves you with btc, eth, link, and dot. Those are the ones I'd examine closely. Personally I'm 90% link and trying to exit my 10% xsn position for more link or an even split of btc/eth. Just too stubborn to sell at a loss so we could be waiting a while.
These numbers come from my ass but pick a top three and go 2:1:1 ratio. You get a little diversity to ride rough markets but also enough exposure to actually feel the pumps a little if only one sees movement in the short term. Hold for a few years and you'll either be very happy, very sad, or kinda bored/disappointed with where your 20k went. Don't buy XSN unless you love losing money.
