People with blue eyes have the same genetic mutation that causes eyes to produce less melanin. The mutation first appeared in a person living in Europe about 10,000 years ago. That individual is a common ancestor of all blue-eyed people today.

We're all mutant cousins?

JANNNIIIIIIEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111

(((academics))) suggest that we're all niggers. the genetic results suggest otherwise.

>no blue eyed people before 8000 BC

Idk how true that is

I'm sorry but this is a crypto board.

Ok. DEUS will moon hard soon

aryan brothers baby

Hi blue eyed bretheren

so all blue eyed people are inbreeds?

A genetic mutation is eventually called evolution. People with blue eyes are more adapted to live in areas with less sunlight. Same with white skin.

Blue eyes masterrace reporting in!
I'm glad I have blue eyes because apart from that I'm a fucking 1m70 manlet
>fuck you amerifats the metric system will prevail

kek the trips of truth

>blue eye allele is recessive
>appeared in a person
It should've appeared in at least 2 for them to produce kids with blue eyes no?
I'm not an expert but I think that's how recessive genes work

Friendly reminder if you have brown eyes
You’re not white shitskin

but how do they know there wasn't another independent mutation?

unless the blue eyed person had sex with their own child
which would make us all incest babies

this dude fucked hard cause he was the only fag with blue eyes

Blue eyes are much older than 10,000 years.

>biblical history only starts 10,000 years ago
>animals made before Adam and Eve
>all humans descended from Adam and Eve
If you don’t have blue eyes you aren’t human. Brown eyed people are.the result of blasphemous unions between sinners and animals

Also 25+ iq points than the african genes

You don't need both parents to have the gene. Just one blue-eyed parent passes it down, and it can still express, it's just less likely without the other person having it as well.
Assuming the recessive gene is present in a population, pic related.

that chart is wrong how can two brown eye nogs have a 26% chance of blue or green eye children

>assuming the recessive gene is present in a population

You can have blue/green/gray eyes even if both parents have brown eyes.

This have nothing to do with chainlink

Exactly so. All that's necessary is the presence of the relevant recessive genes.

Let me tell hitler that.

Eye coloration is caused by a sheath of tissue in the back of the iris, which is why anyone can be blue eyed if they get that tissue laserered off, and why the eyes of people who get heavily irradiated turn blue (the tissue burns off). Without melanin the iris is actually colorless, and appears blue because of rayleigh scattering, which is why blue eyes often seem to change color based on ambient light conditions. Everyone has some melanin in their eyes except albinos, which is why their eyes appear red, from the blood vessels in the eye

He probably got a ton of pussy

If green is recessive to blue, how is there any likelihood of green eyes if both parents have green eyes.

All my female friends go crazy for my bright blue eyes. Comfy

>how is there any likelihood of green eyes if both parents have green eyes

Lol, I meant blue. The question is thus:

If green is recessive to blue, how is there any likelihood of blue eyes if both parents have green eyes?

eye color expression doesn’t hinge on the expression of a single gene

Based MED bvll.

I was under the impression that the physical expression of a gene was determined solely by the dominant gene.

Green eyes are essentially a spin-off of blue eyes. The same genes are involved.
If this were true, we would all have brown eyes. "Dominant" genes are generally misunderstood.
