well if you knew the interesting techie stuff to look into then it wouldn't be boring. You gotta know where to look. you gotta know that this is all a race to the bottom and the slowest one wins.
Know that the ecochain stuff is worth reading and will take you days to actualyl get through it all. worth it for the bored ones and the ones needing a direction in their life with security and wallets and defi and all the shit you've been inundated with lately but better

Most of my clients are government. I just learned some rare skills whilst working full time, and then took the first contracting opportunity that came along.

It did take about 7 years to make that jump though. I.e. enough time to skill up, and enough experience to solve problems and be liked by customers
