Segwit is just discarding signature data from the blockchain to reduce the block size and allow for higher transaction throughput. The Bitcoin cash fork opted to increase block size and keep all data on chain.
Post segwit we see that Bitcoin core leads the way with adoption.
Lightning is a further evolution to help overcome the confirmation time and transaction fee limitations. However it is not yet user friendly.
Stakenet is building in line with the strategy of Bitcoin core, to make the lightning network user friendly. Furthermore they aim to solve trustless interoperability between chains, to remove middlemen from having to peg your wrapped asset.

Imagine this, this is the only exchange that will liberate millions around the world from geo-blocking that as prevented some of us from acquiring certain assets. yep - clearly. They need to be pushing more frequent updates and managing timeline better. There is legitimate competition now (ZK, Optimistic, Arbitrum roll-ups, Eth 2.0 on the longer horizon).
If you buy in be wary - if they're not delivering before November we probably need to be thinking about whether first-mover advantage will go elsewhere.
