Why do people put pictures of themselves on the cover of books? It's tacky as fuck
Not interested.
Don’t need no stinking UBI because I hold BTC, LINK and QNT.
I agree with Yang on a lot of things but I think he would be better as a Republican than a Democrat. A lot of his own support seem to be people on the right or people who use to be on the right.
this guy's a complete brainlet, he thinks you can just hand out money forever and people will still go to work lmao. im not going to work if you're giving me UBI, im sitting home neeting, and so is everyone else. economy instant fail.
UBI is just another control mechanism. It quite literally is not sustainable in a low IQ population where there are a lot of hispanics, blacks, indians, etc. It's only even slightly sustainable with certain east asians and europeans, but that also needs to push people into working productively or it will collapse.
seconded. Also, if you have to pick a picture to put on a book, why have it taken after someone tells you that a homeless man took a shit in your fridge.
He's trying to convey the 'seriousness' and 'inevitability' of the horseshit between the covers

UBI will be our only way to survive
AI and tech will take your jobs, so you have to have some basic income
If you don't realize this, then we will be slaves to robots... and guess what... robots will not need humans or have to eat.
Mandatory won't read because chink comment
Chinese menace tries to overtake the US political system and implement widespread wealth redistribution on a scale never before seen in human history because while it's only resulted in economic collapse everywhere it's ever been tried and modern economists such as John Heim have proven that government programs crowd out the private sphere stifling private innovation. But Yang is so cool and hip everyone at my local dojo loves him!
Never trust chinks
Not everyone enjoys staying at home. There are actually NPCs, that treat their work as their life goal.
>Reading celebrity books which sole purpose is for the author to masturbate through the written word
Why do Americans do this?
This
brainwash game is strong in murica.
but actually also all over the world.
see corona.
Accepting UBI is basically admitting you failed at life. Now I can see going through rough patches and needing support to get back on your feet, but to make UBI the central tenet of your character or a pillar of your political worldview, really begs the question, why not just kys yourself?
I’m typically against UBI but what happens when robots get as smart as us and do literally everything. What will be the point of existing. Our world is the most pointless thing that just runs itself dry
we're not even close to that. pre-covid-19 lockdowns there were 6,000,000 job openings in the US and full employment. the problem is that brainlets think they deserve to start in middle management, and wont put the work in to get there. youth apathy is going to be death of this nation/the west if niggers and various other shitskins dont kill it first.
Imagine trusting an Americanized Asian.

>needing support to get back on your fee
that's what family and friends are for. if nobody is willing to help you voluntarily, you are likely an asshole and don't deserve any help
At a certain point most of the low wage job market won't exist. Yang wants to future proof the economy for when that happens. People who think Yangs position is giving people money will solve problems doesn't actually understand his positions.
>wagies whole persona is their job
Lmao
UBI isn't enough. We nerd to keep people from breeding.
What if it's not your central worldview, but instead accepting that you're in a rigged game and making the best of the situation? Some Yang supporters like myself are very right wing, but have realized that as a country the US has crossed a retard line and that there's no escaping gibs. I might as well get my share instead instead of just allowing minorities to get all of the free shit.
>we can just print money and give it to people and that money will keep them going and the economy growing!
there are literally millions of people who are so low IQ they think this is viable. wew lad
Haven't read it but you don't need to be a genius to know some level of UBI is the future.
>bUt ThE pEOPLe WOnT go To WoRK anyMoRE
While this will be hard to understand for all the NEETs reading this, most people want more than just survival. Otherwise everyone would already be content with a minimal effort, 32 hour/week job.
Besides, the people who will decide to stop working and settle for the absolute minimum, are probably not the people we need anyway.
Never trust anyone you can blindfold with a shoelace
There are much smarter people than you that have proposed this as a valid economic model. UBI was originally a right wing economic theory borne out of the work of the Chicago school and more specifically Milton Friedman. He wraps it up as a "negative tax rate" but the principle is the same - give people money instead of scatter gun attempts at funding social institutions which might or might not hit the spot and help people. It's really not a "free handouts thing". The fact that people instantly align it with left wing though says more about how much of a brainlet they are than it does about the validity of the theory. Also look into modern monetary theory which proposes a monetary policy which stimulates under utilising areas of the economy whilst also staving off inflation - all through the brrrr machine. Seriously anyone who thinks in these boring left vs right dynamics would be lined up and shot against the wall in my utopia. It's such childish and regressive thinking.
All these coonage saying what the US and Europe "should" be. I beg to differ, wops.
>Thinks he can live off 1k a month
Brainlet
Yang was truly too based for this world. His mindset wasn't "WE NEED TO HELP ALL THESE NIGGERS AND TRANNIES" it was "we as a world are changing and if we wish to continue as a society we should accept that not everyone is necessary for the workforce". Unfortunately we still have too many people who would leech and pursue hedonism vs arts and making a difference in our community so I don't think the world is ready for the utopia he could usher in.
