AAVE has a new token -- AAVE vs LEND. There was a token swap I tihnk but idk the details.

yes but why the tokens dumping so hard

maybe the token swap ended today? Idk.

combination of:
BTC dumped + rising bitcoin dominance, all alts bleeding heavily especially defi ones that x 10'd over the last months. Also, my guess is that a lot of buyers are confused by 2 tokens existing at the same time so they wait to buy after migration is 100% complete, while the 2 tokens aren't stopping panic sellers from selling. Excellent buy the dip opportuity, this shit will x 3 from current price before eoy

because until its used as collateral again it is litterally worthless fuck you marc xeller and the aave team!!!!! wtf was the point in this

shouldn't this moon the lend prive? how do i unmigrate my aave tokens? sell and rebuy lend?

another defi scam

Because you're supposed to migrate your LEND to AAVE

hodl and wait for the Coinbase listing or frick off dude

yeah i dont know why AAVE wouldnt be added as a token for their lending pool instantly... its the lending platforms own token...
im guessing its just a tool to crash it for cheaper accumulation

probably because it's a good idea to wait for a volatile event like a token migration to conclude before you accept the asset as collateral for loans

if they accepted AAVE for collateral right away everyone would be crying about getting liquidated

somone lend them rope

Because it's actually decentralized
AAVE holders have to vote to add this asset just like any other one.
if you can't understand that, stay on CeFi

dumb, i thought staking would be a good idea then i had to hold through the dump for the "cool off" period instead of swinging it for more aave which i couldn't even use as collateral. fucking euro fags

>wtf was the point in this
Minting more coins for themselves (25% extra supply)

aave stinks

Well, since AAVE is decentralized , the token holders approved of this, right?

Any thoughts on if Salt can make a comeback? It used to be as big as eth lend

>still using cmc in 2020

user, i...

>still being a pajeet on Zig Forums in 2020
Paj.. i

>still putting money into crypto in 2020

guyz..i..

Didnt they get forced to pay back all their ICO investors recently? SEC labeling them as a security or whatever

I bought.

Bullish for bzrx

bzx is literally a piece of shit amateur scam compared to aave.

this. there is no other lending/borrowing project in existence that even touches AAVE's quality

I wouldn't be able to sleep if I had a position with some other platform

They added the additional tokens when they created the AAVE token. So, no, your only option to vote against would be to just sell your LEND or something

yes, staking is a bad idea if you're wanting to be able to sell on a whim. As far as I can tell, the cooldown window makes it so you have some "skin in the game" and is intended only for people who just want to hold onto their AAVE

although if you think 10 days is bad, Loopring has a 90 day minimum staking period

You know ppl are migrating to the new aave token

just bought some aave been waiting for a dip, comfiest defi hold there is.

Not an investor here been thinking about entering, so its dumping because team minted more tokens? Or because of some kind of mismanagement with the token swap?

Just finding its real value, nothing unexpected

>so its dumping because team minted more tokens?

not exactly, I mean everyone knew about it from the beginning. But it could be playing some part in people's decision to sell. Like the other guy said it's just finding its value now, plus everything defi-related has been going down lately as you know
