I audit smart contracts. Which is technically not the same as trading crypto.
Yes. I own a sandblasting company and am working on starting a laser cleaning company to operate in tandem.
disgusting amerimutt
I've been working on a SaaS business for the past 10 months. i'm the only dev and I moved back home temporarily to not have to earn income while I build. i just want to fucking finish already and make semi-passive income
i wanna gobble up her turds straight from her shithole
Why bother? You own the right cryptos you can be rich within a year
openzepellin?
This is Zig Forums, not Zig Forums.
That's a man.
I just fapped to her again. Thx OP
yea, building websites
Based. I find it so hard to come up with ideas for what to make, my coding skills are decent somewhat.
same. in this case im not the ideas guy. im also not funding it, so splitting equity. he has good connections and it's very possible i'll at LEAST match my previous salary at the job I left...but with my own company. very excited
meant to reply to
yes. stream production.
i want to put food in her butt and then have her shit it into my mouth so i can spit it in her mouth and she eats it
If you gents don't mind me asking, what are some reasons you would choose to work with or not work with an idea/money guy on a startup? I have a few big ideas, great marketable domains and business names, have a lot of experience as a biz owner, and have a lot of money, but no tech ability.
BOOTAY
in my particular case, I have known the guy for 4 years and I joined his start up and then left. he's very successful and the same age. I know first-hand the type of connections he has and the value of his business. we basically have giant customers ready to use our platform when it's ready.
if I were to find another money/ideas guy, the equity split would need to be fair and i'd need to see value in the idea. developing a platform takes a fuck load of work and time.
If the money guy is the type that think he can build the next twitter for $3, then it's a waste of time.
i don't know - there's a lot of factors. you'd probably have more luck finding a dev adjacent to one of your circles rather than a random person
$3000*
One reason I wouldn't:
I had an ideas guy pitch to me but he wanted me to agree to a 80/20 split beforehand. Guy was a chink too so it made it even more suspect. Don't do business with chinks, ever. Ruthless cold fuckers.
I was thinking of having a local shop put together an mvp off of my balsamiq mock up when it's done and then using that to possibly find a co founder. I don't think outsourcing to a dev shop is going to remain feasible if the business takes off.
Yes, I design artwork for various shitcoins while I trade
I'm bad at ideas too. the SaaS platform idea is pretty boring desu. but there's a big market for it and two of his giant clients have been asking for it.
There are already big players in the particular industry we're going in, but not too many. we can definitely have a piece of the pie.
If she were 2d it would be 10x better
cringe
don't know anything about balsamiq.
If you get serious about finding a develop, make sure they are relatively local and speak your language fluently.
would something like 80/20 or 70/30 with vesting schedule be fair if I'm going to be leveraging my network of existing customers, putting up a 6 figure marketing budget, and am competent/experience enough to run the company?
idk if you could call it a business but me and my bro work as software devs and have been building random apps hoping one will get traction (also to learn flutter) but have gotten nowhere so far. If all else fails we are hoping we can use them as a portfolio and try to pick up clients and work as contractors. Hard to come up with unique ideas that haven't been done and neither of us know shit about marketing
I've been wanting to start a bacon and egg breakfast truck and park it by busy streets early in the morning. Maybe after covid, I don't want to pay taxes and jump through hoops for a country I don't believe will be here in a year or two.
Not him but yes 70/30 sounds reasonable for that
It really does depend but if you were ready to show proof of your so-called customers and that you're actually committing on a marketing budget that big then someone might bite. I would never take anyone at face value these days, I'd need hard evidence.
Excellent and thanks for the response. Proving funds, experience, and access to customers through my other business wouldn't be a problem
