can you explain presale vs private sale + mesa public sale to a brainlet pls?

The price you buy at will range from 30c to 2$. I am not sure how it works but the earlier you are the cheaper it is for you. Presale was supposed to be flat 30c. I am pissed.

Presale generally just requires you to be early and have money. Usually not that much token locking and a price reduction of the ico price. Private requires you to be an accredited investor, the sum you can put in is way higher, there is a much bigger discount but your tokens get locked for a long time. I don't completely understand mesa. I was told that it was advantageous to go in with a large pool in a mesa sale though. I am not certain though.

I am kind of off my ico game though. All I know about API3 is from a team member. I also know that the private sale could have filled the whole ico if they wanted it to happen. They scratched the presale for more private if I recall. I'm not sure.

Thanks for the explanation. Is this good or bad though? It sounds like they have more demand coming from private investors.

Off-chain computation = equally cheap
Feed insuarance + Kleros (ded coin) arbitration is retarded for oracles. By the time you need arbitration from humans it is too late.

Arbitrum won't be out of alpha before q1-2 next year, and Optimism similar. Both have mainnet finality issues. This is why I'm bullish on API3, imagine not using a scaling layer that has been working for 2 years the absolute state of Chainlink
