I have some e-commerce sites. Anyone else into this or is it all wage slaves and stock gamblers?
Who /online business/ here?
I have about 100k a year salary from this, it’s not a meme
What kind of business are you running? How is it monetized?
I run a political website and sell apparel. Unironically spend a fuck ton of money on ads, grow a page, and you’ll make it. It’s unbelievable the amount of people who buy my shit and the Facebook ads work incredibly
So print on demand? Or drop shipping? What’s your FB ad strategy? I rarely have good success with ads.
I'm a freelance web dev/ designer on the side
I guess it kind of depends on the niche. I unironically buy products on alibaba and sell through the website. But at the same time a lot of my money comes from the articles that are posted on the site. It’s something like $7 every a thousand clicks to the website from Facebook, which is easy when you get anough. You could easily get 5k clicks on a good post after spending 10-15k on a page
$500-700 a week on automated YouTube channels if that counts
Interesting. do you write the articles? Also, is it MAGA stuff?
Yes it’s MAGA stuff, which makes it even easier on Facebook. The boomers really eat it up, and I used to write the articles, but now I have a bunch of writers for me. I run like 7 Facebook pages with a bunch of likes now, can easily get 100k clicks a day.
What do you mean automated?
How do you start a page and build it up? How long to get established?
Mix of compilation channels (tiktok, music videos, sports highlights) and those shitty text to speech Reddit channels.
If you know basic python it's pretty easy.
Pic related my latest channel to get monitzation.
Memes are where it’s at if you’re aiming for the political crowd. I started off with twitter in high school (believe it or not) and built up a solid following because I was young and supported Trump. After that I picked up the FB pages and posted good content for about half a year before it really started to speed up. Fast forward one year of work on those pages and I ended up getting mentioned by Trump on one of them. Followers really start to pile on once you pass the 50k obstacle. But to be frank, it’s not as hard as you’d think. Memes spread like wildfire especially if they’re good ones. And of course, everyone on Facebook loves Trump. I would target ads to tucker Carlson and Fox News demographic, after that it’s like stealing candy from a baby.
Are the videos made automatically or just uploaded automatically? Or both?
Ok gotcha great idea. Are the ads just paying for page likes? Do you sell right on the page or send traffic to your site? Are you using Shopify?
Kind of a mix of both. When posting with products on them they don’t do so great, in my opinion it’s best just for likes, and I think it has something to do with the algorithm. The likes funnel to clicks which then funnel to sales. One thing I learned is that it’s best to get repeat customers rather than aim for new ones. At least a third of the people who buy stuff on the site are repeat customers. And yes I’m using Shopify, makes everything a hundred times easier. To handle shipping I just have a rented warehouse full of high school kids who like trump
I had an online analysts thing going for a bit. It was for a Euro/Slavic firm that wanted an Anglo to look over things. Ended up reading stuff for the US, UK and Aus (Canada I guess.)
They wanted to make sure they did not f up and say anything political/sensitive.
How often do you post to the page? Are your ads just memes too? Do you mean people click through the ads to your site?
Non racist chad white guy who
Fucks ama
Memes are for ads and just to keep things fresh. Ads are to get more likes and reach in general. I post about once every hour all day and average probably 3-5k clicks on each post (so about 10-12 posts a day) on all pages. Every day I get roughly 120k clicks combined on them. It’s really an art of words when aiming for clicks, and somehow those boomers just keep clicking away. Traffic for the site is about 6 million this month.
Also ads are extremely click baity when I do them. For example: hit the thumbs up if you think Nancy Pelosi should be removed from office (the thumbs up makes people like the page).
What do you sell? I wanna be a chad too
Dropship or what? Fb ads? Profit margin?
Ahhh very nice. Smart. Do you post manually? Or is it scheduled some how? Are you totally dependent on FB for traffic?
Both
Footwear related product. Buy pnk if you want to be a chad too.
Made in house. All through fb ads. Profit margin of about 40%.
Traffic comes from a mix of things now. I have a newsletter and a few email lists but Atleast half of the traffic is from Facebook. Sometimes I schedule the posts but most of the time I can’t because the new articles haven’t been posted to the site yet. Some days when I’m busy I will schedule all my shit for the day and have literally no work to do
Did you program it yourself?
Original product or private label? Are you literally hand producing it in house?
Fb ads are not to be underestimated. Based user
Thanks anons. How do you actually tweak fb ads for good clicks? I usually get bot clicks only so I thought fb ads were a scam.
One thing I think is really important is finding a strong niche and surprisingly cover photo. If it’s visually appealing it will help a lot more. Other than that make sure you target your ads in a way to get exactly who you want. Also don’t be afraid to pay an extra penny, it’s very worth it

What’s the best kind of stuff to sell?
To add on to this, when you first start it may be a little slow, and if you see a page with ten likes you’re much less likely to follow it than if it had something like 10k. Stick with something and it will work out, Atleast in my experience. I worked for free and actually at a loss for a very long time
I have an idea.
How do I go about getting started and leveraging up my own money to generate seed capital while minimizing my own exposure to credit risk and personal debt?
The highest selling item for me is as you would expect, the hats. What makes me the most is probably things like puzzles or my newsletter. Though all the stuff I sell Makes me a lot of money (winter caps, shirts, hats, socks, and coins), magnitude is the most important.
I want to try making a reddit text to speech channel, but I dont know how to get views on it
I see, thanks. So even with popular topics like politics, it does take a while before you get an ROI. Can you quantify "a very long time"?
As I’m puzzles I mean Limited time items that are the fad at the moment. But a solid base is definitely something like the hats or other clothing items, which is essential if you ever want to sell other items at a higher profit margin
How do you get views on youtube? Do you pay for youtube ads?
I went for about 4-6 months without making any money, but that time helped me build the base and foundation that was needed. Things will really start pouring in after a few months of hard work. I went from making no money at all to making about 7 grand a month when I learned all the strategies. That number is only rising every month as well
