When will boomers price themselves out, causing the real estate market to collapse?
Why aren't millennials buying homes?

the US realestate market in the US is pretty cheap desu i would be a landlord over there
Millenials are definitely buying. I think its zoomers who arent.
And as to why: they dumb
>Aren't being paid enough to buy one.
>Don't want to buy overpriced homes in nigger areas
Is that not a huge amount of money for a place that size? And in Minneapolis?
>$200k for that
It’s fucking tiny, and right next to other houses. Fuck that
In the most traditional sense, to own a house you gotta be a full-time worker and work towards paying off a 20-30 year mortgage.
I certainly can't speak for all of us, but I don't want to live that way. I want to pay off a house much sooner and then coast working part-time at best. That's why I got hair-brained ideas of getting money via investment and finding a cheap house in some nowhere state.
The skyrocket of real estate prices has a lot to do with the ever decreasing interest rates. BUT we're at the bottom of interest rates so only supply and demand remains. Foreign demand will be key to keeping real estate prices high. Boomers and Gen X have priced out millenials and Zoomers but millenials might inherit from their Boomer parents if they play things right.
True and they're being sold a lie that buying depreciating novel toys and bullshit is cool and leads to happiness. The internet and nature are almost free, knowledge and peace bring happiness everyone. My family owns an international company and we're all annoying drunks but at least we've realized money is happiness in the abstract, not reality. Maybe this is useful to someone out there
imagine thinking thats how real estate works
Never
Line go up
sad thing is, it's still the smarter move when rent is more expensive than the mortgage payments
that house would be over $500K where i live and the tenant would be paying for the owner's mortgage payments
Everybody in those $300k+ McMansions is paying a mortgage.
>My family owns an international company so i can totally relate to you guys
birth rate of 1.5 per family reduces population by 1/3 every 2 generations
$300k? Sign me up!
Look at this twitter.com
Yea its stupid
That does not bode too well for a lot of sectors.
I'm just not ready to settle down. I could buy a cheap house around here, but I would need to flip it within 2 years and I'm not confident the market is going to be that strong in 2 years when President Kamala is in office.
Not nearly enough. We need much less births to save the planet!
there's only 1 sector the wage slavery sector
My mom married into it, I grew up poor until 6th grade. I think I got the best of both worlds in terms of lessons and opportunities
>t.zoomer
unless your renting our your home it’s nothing more then a store of value
The idea that assets will grow in value forever is a delusion of infinite growth. Many European countries are approaching birth rate of 1. Japan is already there. Do you know what that means? Half population in 2 generations. This is also why European politicians are pushing the immigration agenda so hard. It is in their financial incentives that all asset prices grow forever. We are at the cusp of a massive generational inflexion point. Our civilization can not even imagine a world of negative growth, but it is very real.
Ask yourself why banks collude with governments to increase immigration numbers then reassess
So your mom is a whore is what you’re saying
you are looking at the price of the house instead of what most morons look at when they buy a house, which is the monthly payment, I work in banking and the first thing anyone asks when taking out a loan is "what is the monthly payment?"
Average man is motivated to work a shitty job and buy a house for a woman to have his kids.
Women are educated so their standards have risen. Educated women don't want kids as much (but still want to be married lol). Men aren't going to shitty job for no reason, they'll just work easy jobs for slave wages and focus on their "hobbies" like video games and anime and collectibles.
>Tiny
Heh, not that you would want to come to this shit hole, but don't come to Britain
>100 years old
>no central air
>$446/square foot
i'd rather be a rentcuck for life than buy that fucking shitheap.
