>have pretty good job/pay
>look to move out and get an apartment
>rent is $1k+ eveywhere
How do normies justify this? I can afford it but it's 12k+ a year I could invest.
Have pretty good job/pay
>have pretty good job/pay
This is why your rent is so high faggot. Move into a low pay area and your rent will be lower. Also 1k is nothing lmao. Real rent pain starts at 3k+ per month.
Having as many of the following
1) a good job so this plus bills is less than a third of your after tax income
2) buying a house so it isn’t money wasted, instead it’s like putting money into a savings account
3) take part in normal social activities which aren’t appropriate for your mums house
4) self respect. Seriously if you’re at your mums house at 20 you need to grow the fuck up.
>1k+
Nigger please I pay 1500 pounds for a one bedroom
That's like 2k dollars
Bills not included
if a social activity isn't appropriate for mom's house it's not normal
you britcuck piece of shit
>Real rent pain starts at 3k+ per month.
where the fck is it that high?
Spending 1/4-1/3 of your income on rent is insane, the fact that it's normalized and a rule of thumb just shows how poor most americans are.
>how poor most americans are
America has it easy with rent and mortgage and property
Take a look at European prices
Even basic shit like having a friend or girlfriend round isn’t appropriate for mommas house lol.
It’s normal in every country where it costs this much to live alone. As mentioned earlier just buy the place and you’ll only be “wasting” a tenth of your income at max.
cohabitation with a gf or, god forbid, roommates. most people live like literal nigger cattle. i make $70k a year but i still feel poor because $1000 of my hard earned shekels are yanked out of my bank account EVERY MONTH and put into the hands of some grimy kike landlord who barely maintains this 650 square foot nigger dump. i have no idea how braindead minorities making $15/hour at the amazon warehouse do it.
Stop trying to live in the urban jungle and look in the suburbs.
suburbs aren't really any cheaper than the city. this meme has to stop.
>just move bro
>just abandon your family bro
>just pick up your life bro
>all because jew banks, jew realtors, jew politicians, and money laundering chinks colluded to drive up the price of real estate with imaginary money
>just do it bro come on
Then you're poor too.
The long term wealth people could be building if they weren't getting sucked dry by rent is big.
Buy a unit for $150k. Basically its $150k that you get back later to rent for $500 a month.
So to your question, how do people afford rent? They dont your paying someones mortgage. You should be the mortgage holder, retard
Where do you live that most landlords are kikes? Here they're mostly inbred anglos.
The average normie only cares about sex so their number #1 concern is having their own place, so they will pay any cost to be away from their parents. That's fine but they also are afraid of commitment so they refuse to buy a property where they can actually build equity every month with home ownership. Basically the average normie renter is a retard and deserves to be poor. Even if you are only planning on being somewhere for two years it's worth it to buy, not only will you not have to pay rent but your home will 95% serve as an investment that increases in value
Rent is just another tool to dehumanize you. Don't rent.
get a roomate, rent -50%. or, get a mortgage, rates are low and you have a nice asset at the end of it all which you can then sell and invest that money if you want. i see my house as the capstone of my portfolio. once my portfolio hits 500k, which is gonna be probably 15 years at my current rate, my house should be worth about twice what it's currently worth considering the growth of my area/city. that'll leave me with a million after tax, and i'll then put it into divvy stocks and return to neethood. thats my goal. i could live off 30k/year easily if i didnt have to work, lots of expenses related to work like simply driving there and back lol.
Can't buy a condo in Denver because they have laws where new buildings multi-tenant buildings can't be sold by the unit for 7 years after construction. Any condo therefor has been lived in by someone else for 7 years so you literally can not get a nice fresh pad.
>condo
the most niggerbrained investment in existence, the worst aspects of renting and home ownership combined.
youre dumb. Condo living has saved me almost $100k and made me about $100k in property value increase in very short number of years
>Seriously if you’re at your mums house at 20 you need to grow the fuck up.
This is a Jewish lie. Three generations of families used to live in the same house, but now for some reason you've got to take on a ton of debt otherwise 'you're not a man' or 'you need to grow up'
If you feel you need to move out, then I would look for somewhere cheaper and commute. $1k is extortionate and you'd be much better off living at home and saving for a deposit, or using the money to invest sensibly and again, using the money for a deposit. But there's NO HURRY user. Don't fuck yourself into a money pit you'll struggle to climb out of.
I'm gonna try and convince my parents to let me help convert basement into a separate unit which I could use then when I leave they can rent it for some income.
>$33k/yr after tax
>want nice little 2 bed in Bucks county, will finally have a washer/dryer in unit to avoid the normalfags
>$1250
That's in my budget right?
Wow user, I said you can live at home for a bit but lets not get carried away with the whole basement thing...
Why ask us it depends how much you spend, retard. I spend more than your salary in weed alone per year
>living with people you have no familiar, sexual or emotional relation to
yeah i'd rather take another year at mummys lol
>I spend more than your salary in weed alone per year
Never pay rent
Fucking take a loan and buy a place, the loan payments are mostly cheaper than paying rent
Or just live in an RV. It's my 5th year soon
My rent went up when I moved from Dallas (niggerfied hellhole) to Plano (normal suburb) by 30%
Where to get 20% down payment for the 250k places around dfw?
Work and save. Imagine how much harder it will be to save up for a 20% down if you're also paying rent.
It only takes 2-3 years of saving (while living home) to get a down payment. If you're renting at the same time? buying furniture? paying more for utilities? you might be looking at 7-10 years instead at best
Yeah if only I had that opportunity. Single mom lost our house as soon as I graduated HS and I had to pay rent to live with my family in a tiny apartment. I ended up paying way more than her over a few years.
Life ruined. No friends. Poor.
