but aside that, you have to understand another thing. Companies can choose to share data privately, but in order to monetize all their data, they will have to use the token and the community in order for people to stake on their data and curate it. Or use Automated Market Making pools to find what their data is really worth. And besides that, they will need to use the Data Tokens for Data Streams, Access Management etc. Or make private data partially available to use via Compute to Data on the Ocean market

The POC is just one of many failed experiments from Ocean. The article does not describe a partnership, merely the completion of one of 50 POC's by Ocean.
