The 1080 ti is truly goat.

are you by any chance using DMG to help track your mining progress? heard good things but want more feedback on it

I'm just using the ethermine.org mining pool

Not at all, not energy efficient and cost too much relative to their hash rate. Get 8GB RX480 or RX580 gpus. They have the best profit/cost ratio.

yeah but dude, what if you want to play skyrim.

I have 1 rx5700 xt for gaming/mining when not in use and 4 rx 580s for mining solely. The 580 can handle skyrim fine, but if you can only get one, then a 5700xt. It has a better ETH hash rate than a 1080ti and is affordable.

Can I mine some ethereum with my gtx 970, 8gb ram and a fx 4100 (yes, I know)?

wew what country is this? those power lines are like a mess of spaghetti. also that skyscraper has the strangest top floor

Brazil. Ikr? Those power cables are fucking disgusting and a disgrace.

the RTX 3090 is an absolute beast, I bought 20 of them and I'm making about $1000 an hour

Just sell the card and buy ETH you moron

is this really possible? thats after electricity costs?

Wouldn't it be better to use that on something like nicehash if that's still a thing? A few years back it was making me around $100 a month with a gtx 970

woah, a mining thread. I haven't seen one of these in years. that's crazy.

of course. Whattomine dot com can tell you the yield of a coin with that gpu

i guess this could be true, but something seems off on your # of cards. whattomine doesn't have the 3090 on their website so I can't say for certain. I doubt yields will be that great after a few months.

>Nicehash
it's around. I wonder if they still have a min. amount before you can transfer out of their system. Mining with just one card made it so getting the min. too forever.

it looks like america

I've just downloaded it and tried it again, afraid to say I am disappointed, like 2 years ago I'd be getting roughly 1-2$ a day on the one card, now with a 2070 it's giving me a prediction of 0.67$ a day, guess I won't be doing this anymore :(

Just to add to my previous it's not stating a weekly outcome of $11.80 but this is in combo with a 3900 CPU

It's good to see them nicely packaged like this before they sell them on ebay

someone on g told me I couldn't have an extra amd card with my nvdia card but didn't elaborate, is that true?

Yea you Cant just mix those two

68 cents if you cash out, if you hold that may become 68 bucks

>I'm making about $1000 an hour
making 24k a day

yeah im not eating that.

It's bs lol
Profitability has dropped pretty hard with new gpu's and AMD has still to come

Also buying flagship cards for mining is dumb

>68 cents if you cash out, if you hold that may become 68 bucks
or do the logical thing, sell hardware, buy btc, sell when 100x

Realistically eth might 2x by 2021
In order for it to 10x it would have to be worth $4800 lmao

>Also buying flagship cards for mining is dumb
yeah Ive done that. Lost 10k.
