Value is subjective. People will value something based on how they feel about it, how they could use etc. It’s different for every person but will definitely change overtime. If I had a billion dollars then 200k is a cheap way to fulfill sentimental value and gain social clout with those who feel the same. If I then lost 90% of my wealth then it wouldn’t be worth 200k anymore. The job of the market is to find the mean value between the participants perception of value. And so, all market valuations are valid for that particular moment.
