I work daily with SAP and in my Opinion is overly complicated and stupid. It gets even worse if a customer has own implementation that differs from the default. But its like Brands, everyone has to use SAP here in germany.

One question here. I've always seen Germans as pretty direct and self-aware. Do you guys comment on the state of your failling industries, and how you cannot produce quality anymore, including the financial industry, or do you treat this subject as a different thing and for this you choose to pretend that you're still the best? Is there national awareness about the decadence of german engineering, that's the question.

I can only speak for the environment i am in. Germans love to circle jerk and implement retarded ideas to surveillance themself (like in my team). Its a bit too much IT but we have a Retrospective where you talk about the last 2 weeks and what went good / what went bad. Most germancunts dont do their shit and then complain about it. They lirry complain about themself but phrase it like its the others doing it. I hate germans so fucking much man. They are always high on themself, if they do mistakes they ignore it kinda and they implement often useless garbage that makes everything slower.

Pretty much this. Too many companies got greedy and rested on their laurels. Same is true for Japanese companies like Sony, but at least Japan still cares a bit about quality and innovation.

We use time tracking for the Tasks. The Project Managers use that for creating the invoice.

We had like coding guidlines, which were rewritten the 5th time. We have like 3 useless Dailies. And for every Dev-Review you do, you have to fill out some stupid form that just eats time.

They used to be great, but I think they are going down the same road of penny-pinching and putting profit before quality that they were once known for. For example, I used to love Karcher pressure washers, but now I find them cheaply made, breaking down all the time, and way too expensive for their worth, especially the add-ons.

These idiots don't understand that the reason people liked to buy their stuff was because they were overengineered and lasted a lifetime. They thought that if they started making them with the dame quality as the chinese bugs that people would still choose german because of "brand".
