Unironical crypto cash out thread

What did you buy with your gains? I bought this simple yet based Royal Broke by Casio with some LINK gains that I cashed out at 19$ (less than 5% of my stack but it was a great treat). Next I will buy new furniture, a TV and a car all with that cashout because I literally lived like that famous matress and laptop pic for the last 5 years. Holding the rest to 1000$ or 0$ tho.

Nice watch, I like Casio, they make some good watches. I sold most of my Link at the top (luckily) and bought a decent 2nd hand Civic tourer, overpaid my mortgage by a few thousand and bought 5oz gold. I never had a big stack, got in a bit late but thankful I made a decent bit out of it.

That looks like a shit AP Royal Oak rip off

what did I say, I named it Royal Broke. Still love the style as it's not a blatant ripoff, just a more sporty and more modest look with fun accents like the yellow font and seconds hand.
I mean, I technically cashed out about 13 LINK to get the watch, this would've cost close to 1k. No thanks. Also I'm not a mechanical fan.

classy choice, OP. here's a little piece I picked up recently.

tranny thread still

Non watch faggot here. My dad is retiring soon and he also just go diagnosed with cancer... I've made it off of Link and a little bit of the investment was because my parents trusted me enough to give me a loan to buy some of that Link. So, I want to buy my dad a good gift and I keep thinking of a watch.

Can you watchfags help me out? We are hard working, go to church every Sunday, country folk type people. They've never owned something "fancy" or expensive in their lives. So what kind of watch would be good for a handy-man type guy? I guess it could be once a week wear to church type fancy, but I'm not sure he would like that. Is there something he could wear every day that would hold up to dings from working around being a handy man?

sounds like is for you. Just ask, it's a bunch of pretty polite autists.

Sorry, I'm just a bit too busy and don't care enough about my watch to set it every other day and worry wether it's losing time yet or not, then add the servicing cost and having to wind it when you haven't worn it, yikes.

for something handy-man like I'd recommend anything rolex. Something plain and timeless. Will cost you anything from 5-15k for entry-level. If you want something more baller get a Patek.

Depends on your budget man. FOr $100 check out Vostok Amphibia / Scuba Dude, it's russian but tough as nails and looks cool. FOr a bit more than that search Seiko Orange Monster

Why are even discussing watches if you're going to compare functionality? If you care about functionality, watches are entirely pointless, just use a phone.

Any rolex looks 90 times better than your watch and they retain their value as investments.

yeah and you know what, one rolex is equivalent to my car budget. get a grip on reality, of course a watch should have some utility. I also don't want to get my hand chopped off in the city or be paranoid about not bumping into shit.

will do, thanks

i'd want to keep it under 10k.

budget around $5k, def under $10k, but if i could get a really nice respectable watch for $1-2k that would be cool too.

Also, forgot to mention he has small wrists so nothing huge.

>selling $1000 for $19

get him a rolex daydate or a gmt master or explorer.

Where are your knuckles user?
For a moment I thought that you were an amputee wearing a watch on your forearm.

Stick with something classic i.e;
>rolex submariner
>rolex date just/day date (depending on your budget)
>omega speed master/sea master (depends on your taste)
>patek philippe nautilus, If you really want to splash out
Bro, he said he made it off link and his dad's retiring and has cancer...$100? Not having on seiko, pic related, but come on...
Based bomber bro

Yea I didn't see the "made it" part. Good picks, I would've recommended Rolex Explorer. If dad claims it's too expensive you can say it's actually "cheapest" because Rolex holds value better than most

Casio ProTrek, a house, 10 hectares of land and more TOMO.

Not even larping.

What a waste of money

I agree, mechanical watches are superior.

Regarding Rolex, I'd only be interested in the Rolex Submariner. Rolex is a great brand but their watches aren't the best. I'd take an Omega Seamaster any day of the week.

Or Patek Phillipe...

A Patek is truly a 'make it' watch. You can't really own one any other way.
