What if LINK never reaches $1000?

Has any user thought of what their back up plan is if it never happens? what if it never even reaches 100? this is a not a fud, i'm genuinely worried. If it doesn't happen in the next 3-5 years, how many here are just gonna rope?
I don't see much more growth for BTC. 100k and all those other McAfee numbers are nothing but memes at this point. Ether maybe, but LINK what i've really invested in the past couple of years.

What do you guys think? should i just invest in a couple of shitcoins too? if so, let me know which coin has the most potentical for success both short term and long term.
