Russell futures ;_; /es exactly on daily point of control, I remain unconcerned (sweaty snek dot jpeg) until we hit 3333 though, then it gets perilous :o I kinda like the idea of a dip before the election, leaves more room on the upside to blow through thin volume? I want gold to go down too
what's that one parable where he gives 3 separate men a gold, silver, and copper coin and each man comes back with either 2 gold/silver/copper?
Bentley Brooks
is this bearish or bullish?
Samuel Anderson
Nothing really. The market already is betting that Trump wins. The only action from the election would be a complete tanking if he loses or no one knows a winner after the election.
Ryder White
>The market already is betting that Trump wins How do you know?
Isaiah Baker
thats from the Ephesians 6 and Deuteronomy 22:28-29
Luke Taylor
Ok ok fine. You have any wild speculation I can look into? Let’s say Trump has a clear victory that doesn’t delay a clear winner being announced.
19 Some time later the master of those servants returned. He called them in and asked what they had done with his money. 20 The servant who had been given five thousand coins brought them in with the five thousand that he had earned. He said, “Sir, you gave me five thousand coins, and I have earned five thousand more.”
21 “Wonderful!” his master replied. “You are a good and faithful servant. I left you in charge of only a little, but now I will put you in charge of much more. Come and share in my happiness!”
22 Next, the servant who had been given two thousand coins came in and said, “Sir, you gave me two thousand coins, and I have earned two thousand more.”
23 “Wonderful!” his master replied. “You are a good and faithful servant. I left you in charge of only a little, but now I will put you in charge of much more. Come and share in my happiness!”
24 The servant who had been given one thousand coins then came in and said, “Sir, I know that you are hard to get along with. You harvest what you don’t plant and gather crops where you haven’t scattered seed. 25 I was frightened and went out and hid your money in the ground. Here is every single coin!”
26 The master of the servant told him, “You are lazy and good-for-nothing! You know that I harvest what I don’t plant and gather crops where I haven’t scattered seed. 27 You could have at least put my money in the bank, so that I could have earned interest on it.”

how many times will you spam those picks this thread? Last time it was like 3 or more times.
Austin Rogers
28 Then the master said, “Now your money will be taken away and given to the servant with ten thousand coins! 29 Everyone who has something will be given more, and they will have more than enough. But everything will be taken from those who don’t have anything. 30 You are a worthless servant, and you will be thrown out into the dark where people will cry and grit their teeth in pain.”
Benjamin Bell
Are you just posting bible quotes?
Cameron Peterson
The user asked for the scripture about the coins.
Julian Sullivan

So what's the deal with Uber and ride sharing/food delivery companies in general? I thought that those kinds of services would be getting more and more prevalent in the future. Personally my family gets food delivered multiple times a month. But I don't really hear a lot of buzz about their stock. Is it cause of the rona? Did I just overestimate how much interest people have in these services?
Tyler Thompson
I mean, they probably had a good month but no one cares about them anymore.
Matthew Scott
Uber has been fighting legal battles for some time now. Uber has been spending gobs of cash in the race to AI automobiles, but the reality is, they will probably be nothing more than a rideshare/food delivery company with contractors.
The upper management of Uber seems to be quite greedy as well, hashing out less and less pay each year, so, ultimately, I wouldn't see them as a good stock to buy. Namely because EPS is negatively affected when SG&A is higher due to executives taking some fat checks after the race is over. All of these companies are in a race to the bottom so to speak. They want to see who can run the cheapest for the longest. I'd stay far far away unless you hear of an M&A coming up.
Christian King
Maybe talking out of my ass. Last I checked on Uber, it still had massive debt, ride sharing is taking a hit (it's biggest $$) and states like California royally fucked them by forcing them to turning contractors into employees.
i am so fucked my XOM and other reopening bags are even more fucked now and now my other stocks are also fucked. how many years of bagholding am i looking at diversification doesnt do shit if the overall market is fucked and there is so much downside left idk what to do
Gme is going to 9-11 through elections. Then if stimulus is passed by December, it will have enough steam for a short squeeze. If there's no stimulus & Biden is elected, expect a big dip in December.
1) Hedge funds cutting profit by taking capital gains tax under Trump's plan
2) Student loans (federal have to be paid back again)
3) Forbearance ending, foreclosures can now start.
No more short squeeze for GME under that scenario.
