Sentinel has an on-chain node query system where active and available exit nodes communicate with Sentinel's Tendermint based blockchain to indicate their availability, and the Sentinel v3 dVPN client will actually directly query the blockchain to retrieve the list of active nodes
This removes the requirement for an additional query masternode system and increases the network resiliency, there were certain times that the network had gone down in the past few years due to the failure of these centralized query/masternode servers
This also increases anonymity of a user on the network as the user does not have to expose their IP address to any query server which retrieves the list of active nodes, will be more documentation on this ingenious implementation which is a REAL tangible usecase of the Cosmos blockchain that a centralized solution cannot compete with Cosmos offers the throughput and scalability for such interactions. We cannot imagine a dVPN node communicating with the ethereum chain every-time it comes online with Ethereum's current limitations
wireguard is definitely the way to go, its much safer and faster then openvpn

SENT's latest blog which covers the purpose of Exidio and its focus on contributing to the Sentinel and cosmos/ tendermint ecosystems.
Exidio will be building white-labelled dVPN applications on the Sentinel Framework. Exidio will also be dedicating development resources towards contributing to the Cosmos SDK and Tendermint Core roadmaps, in addition to building useful Cosmos based utilities.
Exidio's first open-sourced Cosmos based utility is referenced in the blog.
sentinel started working on wireguard way before it was even implemented in linux kernel, sent team has some good researchers , they were also the first team to start working on cosmos sdk
Chart looks bottomed, main net is close, pump is imminent

So exidio will bring corporant clients to sent network, clearly the market has not priced in this news yet

Multiple ways to skin a cat user. Sent offers that.
Noah Lewis
Wow you actually have updates? And I thought this was a PND. Tell me about the pivx partnership, all I can see is "exploring technical intergration" can you elaborate more on this?
Julian Butler
Dank meme. Plug into my node desu.

SENT threads are dominating lately. Same Energy as LINK back in the day. High hopes!
Link is for zoomer faggots. Sent is for kings. Real kings.

Sentinel is going to abritage power away from big tech, like Visa does to banks and transactions decades ago.
IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW
100x from here.

exidio will probably build a dVPN client for pivx that will be able to accept their coin, sentinel network will get part of the revenue, it will be the first POC of how ANY crypto can integrate with sentinel and offer additional utility for their token
Sentinel is the Amazon of bandwidth. Sentinel will do to bandwidth what Amazon has done to retail goods. Amazon has revolutionized retail goods by giving everybody a global platform on which to sell and buy goods. Sentinel will do the same, it will give everybody the possibility to sell and buy bandwidth in a verifiable way on an open and decentralized market with out middlemen. Before Amazon, everybody had to sell only locally and advertising was expensive, now everybody can send goods all over the world and has the ability to reach a global market place. Imagine when normies understand they can get paid for their unlimited bandwidth with out doing anything, or buying bandwidth at a much lower cost then on centralized VPNs. It is similar to unlocking free money that people always had lying around but never knew about. This previously unmonetized bandwidth was locked down by the incumbents, gatekeepers, and middlemen. But with Sentinel, suddendly everybody will be able to sell and buy bandwidth in a global market place, making bandwidth the first fully digital fungible commodity. This is an untapped market, potentially worth billions.

What's up privacy bro.

Reminder Young Turks did the Armenian genocide The Jacobonist Free Masons did the revolutions. Heard it on the Joe Rogan show. Free Hong Kong. Suburban Maoist are faggots.
Alpha leak. Section 230 on tech plus decentralized architecture like Sentinel is going to create broker systems that compete with legacy gateways/gate keepers.
Not only that, we are going to see the birth of fungible data. This will destroy big techs ability to harvest identity states off of users and consumers of a public resource (data). Clean water for all, clean air for all, clean fungible data for all. The water in your glass, is the same as the water in mine. Sentinel will do this with data

token not needed
i could get decentralized vpn without sent aswell.
Julian Phillips
Token not needed?
Please tell me more about validator networks and consensus algorithms Sir Brainlet
I heard rumors Sentinel was an Israeli project. Are Israeli military using Sentinel nodes? That would explain the insane amount of traffic on stats.sentinel.co
