I took a crippling loss on Nyan, but thankfully I got into core fairly early as well as other projects.

I've realised 99.9% of the posters here have no idea what the fuck they are on about. I believed the "genius tokenomics" because people kept repeating it over and over. Yet 5 minutes of actual research clearly shows its never going to work, which is now proven to be true in Nyan and every Nyan fork, and is why they have seemingly ditched the system entirely.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Following recent community debate, the idea of a "price floor" was rejected. In the aftermath of this debate and confusion caused by a glitch in mining difficuluty, the dev team removed all restrictions on NYAN-2 trading.

While this removed the price floor, it also removed the LP locking mechanism for a short period of time. To avoid damage to our investors and protect the interests of our LGE supporters the locks have been temporarily been put back in place.

What does this mean?
-For the next few hours NYAN-2 will be untradeable.

For how long?
-ONLY until an update is pushed that removes the price floor mechanism. At this time, NYAN-2 will be tradable again, LP will be locked, but there will be no price floor. Again, we expect this to be a few hours.

With this issue resolved, the team will push an update for the mining difficulty glitch and resume reward distribution.

In addition, a review and summary of the dNYAN-2 mining difficulty incident will be posted in article form with next steps.

Once this is resolved and the ecosystem running as intended, discussions will begin around how best to move all V1 tokens into V2 format and the arb bot.
