No Cardano-ADA Thread? Cardano-ADA Thread.
No Cardano-ADA Thread? Cardano-ADA Thread
Slow and steady will win the race. Fuck the chainstinkers and quant tards
come back if you ever get smart contracts. this is 5 years into being vaporware.
yes and FORMAL VERIFY
die its coming soon
Did Charles Hoskinson fuck Chico Crypto so hard up in the asshole that Chico was unable to walk for weeks and had 37 stitches in his asshole?
what do you mean?
Lets get one going boys i hear beefchain partnership is big deal
Chico Crypto got fucked in the asshole by Charles Hoskinson.
Charles Hoskinson fucked him so hard and deep in the asshole Chico Crypto needed to go to the hospital.
>Damn you Charles!!!
Cardano
Chico Crypto has got multiple stitches in his asshole because Charles Hoskinson penetrated him without merci or lube.
>Damn you Charles
Waiting for my first reward after stacking. It says it will be tomorrow.
If I feel its not enough, I'm going to dump it.
Chainstinker & ADA CHAD checking in
I've made over $3000 staking so far. sounds like your stack is a bit small
this dude went trans after he stopped working at IOHK
Literally says ”she” at the cardano developer page kek
I done some rough math based on how much I've made and you would need a few million ADA to have made that much already, unless you've been doing it since the testnet.
that includes testnet
Still must be a pretty big stack if you've made that just from delegating
Ada was my first crypto. Bought on eToro (babby's first exchange) and hodl ablut 1k coins. It felt comfy until I researched into (the upcoming) smart contract. My. Fucking. God. Is it ugly... Solidity is like Cobol meets C# with some C low-level stuff, straightforward and readable. Cardano's functional programming abomination of a language is just... ugly. Really, really ugly. Smart contracts on Cardano are never gonna be a thing.
my staking pool lost 90% of its stake. should i redelegate too?
functional programming devs will have no problem. marlowe playground is live. you can create finance-domain smart contracts by dragging and dropping via a graphical interface called lockly. these are all formally verified. ZERO coding required...Z E R O. you can also write javasvript smart contracts for finance and the marlowe playground will convert them into marlowe (which is a finane specific haskell dsl) for you. zero haskell coding required. you can then use the marlowe toolset to simulate every possible path through your contract and if there is any bug it will show you your bug and tell you why it happened step by step.
>finance-domain smart contracts
If you read up 2 minutes on what they mean by this you will realize that is approximately 0% of everything currently live on eth
What is a suicide stack for ADA?
What is a make it stack?
Can’t build dapps. The wording is deceptive because it makes it sound like you could build a makerdao because it’s ”financial”. It’s incredibly limited and none of the large eth dapps could have been built woth it.

you're really COPING hard but that's okay. for the non mETH heads:

>In this post, we introduce Marlowe, a new language for financial contracts, and describe the benefits of it being a domain-specific language (DSL). As a DSL it describes only financial contracts, rather than smart contracts in general. Because of this, it differs from general-purpose blockchain languages like Solidity and Bitcoin Script.
>Marlowe is industry-scale. We have built Marlowe contracts based on examples from one of the leading projects for financial smart contracts, the Algorithmic Contract Types Unified Standards (Actus) system. Currently, these and other examples can be seen in the Marlowe Playground, a browser-based environment in which users can create, edit, simulate, and analyse Marlowe contracts, without having to install or pay for anything.
>Who can use Marlowe? Marlowe is a platform for decentralized finance (DeFi) that supports direct, peer-to-peer lending, contracts for difference (CFD), and other similar instruments. Financial institutions can use it to develop and deploy custom instruments for their customers and clients, for example.
...etc
>iohk.io
>actus integration
Yes. You don’t seem to understand what the words you quoted mean.
>wording is deceptive.
no user, that's just wrong.
>We have stressed that Marlowe is a special-purpose financial DSL, but what if you want to write other kinds of contract? To write those, Cardano has Plutus, a general purpose language running on the blockchain. Plutus contracts can handle all kinds of cryptoassets, and don’t have the constraints of Marlowe contracts: for example, they are unconstrained in how long they will remain active, and in how many participants they can involve. Indeed, every Marlowe contract is run by a single Plutus program, the Marlowe interpreter.
>Marlowe as a domain-specific language for DeFi
>Being domain-specific, rather than general purpose, has a number of advantages.
>Contracts are written in the language of finance, rather than the language of the blockchain. This means that some sorts of errors are impossible to write: so certain kinds of incorrect contracts are ruled out completely. For example, every Marlowe contract will have a finite lifetime after which it will perform no further actions, and at that point any funds tied up in the contract will be returned to the participants, meaning that funds in a contract can never be locked up indefinitely.
>It is possible to analyse, completely automatically, how a contract will behave in all circumstances, without having to run it. For example, it is possible to determine whether a particular contract can fail to make a payment in some cases, or whether it is guaranteed to make full payments in every eventuality.
>Contract behaviour can be simulated in a browser, so that users can try out the different ways that a contract might behave, before committing funds and running it for real.
>Users can create their DeFi contracts in different ways: they can write them as text, but also use visual programming to create smart contracts by fitting together blocks that represent the different components. Users can also choose from a range of templates and customise them as needed.
Yeah I’ll just let the words you posted speak for themselves. Post that at once instead of lying by omission next time. You know exactly how your first post would hve been interpreted otherwise.
