It was Rolf Werner. He either planned to end his career and used his connections at Fujitsu to get IOTA on board as a 'Grand Finale' so to speak or he actually got scammed by the smooth talking lizards that run the IOTA scam. I have to correct myself too, it was Fujitsu EUROPE, not Germany. So an even bigger scandal for the company. Of course you're not going to read about it plainly like this, but if you're more than a pajeet scammer peddling his shitcoins, you will know how to interpret the subtext surrounding his resignment. That happened after peak bull during the 2018 crashening, where IOTA took a fat dive from 5 bucks to $1 I think? Maybe even less. Anyway, there's so much bad shit around this project, I really don't pity anyone that touches it. The only hate I have is for people like you that shill it.
