I used to hang around on a lot of investing groups a few years ago and I only ever encountered one girl on voice and she did it for the attention. she would make her own channels and had her own patented signals and shit and would tease people with them and people would ask her to make a chart using it for X. she eventually left to a different group and dragged her posse away with her. I really hate people who go into communities and try to exploit them for money or whatever

Lets say I have 500 usd in my acc and want to buy a stock that is priced for 2k. Do I need the full amount of 2k to buy it? I know of leverage or CFD is it called? Helps you trade big even though you have small amounts on hand.
I dont want to trade with leverage.
Also If I buy a stock fully with my money and the price starts dropping my money arent gonna evaporate until the stock hits 0 right? I can potentially hold until 0 if I think it can jump back to profit?

this is a really bad place to get advice. a lot of brokers now offer fractional shares so you can invest in whatever for as little as you want

Don't use leverage if you are new, Jesus.
Most brokers offer fractional shares, which means that you can, for example, buy 0.1 share of AMZN instead of needing 3k for a full share.

You can buy fractional shares and the only downside is everyone will make fun of you.

This. I feel like i've made a brainlet move shorting friday highs on a lot of leverage on top of bagholding another short from earlier highs. If it pumps in the slightest I will have to immediately cut it. The markets just seem to refuse to go down its crazy
