probrems:
1.the main purpose of the tokens awarded is to dump on the market. Governance is a meme, everyone will vote to be rewarded with more wooden nickels
2.gas puts a significant dent into profit margins.
Avoid any defi that doesn't reward you in the same crypto you are lending like aave, cream etc
Only lend stablecoins with a huge apy
Avoid lp's & lp tokens - only exception is throwing eth at ampl pool when it was below 100k - geyser paid in ampl & impermanent loss doesn't matter with elastic supply.

The main issue is that most devs copied sushi or whatever and then never thought 2 steps ahead for what happens with the thousands of tokens that early farmers mine. ROT at least had some way to get rid of excess supply.
