LINK would need an MC 5x greater than XRP at it's peak though. It would need an MC of one trillion dollars. It might be a good project but it's still just a price feed.
And remember, XRP only had that market cap for a single day. The second people tried to take profits it was over. It's like those shitcoins with $1000 MC and 1B supply, but someone puts in an order to buy 1 at $10 to put it in the top 10 for a day.

Even if you ignore the schizos, Ripple is a real company which might really be laying the groundwork for an international interbank payment system that will one day oust SWIFT. XRP the token is awful thanks to how they distributed it, but Ripple the company is actually doing things.

Increasing by 1m per week thanks to sergey's dumps. But even if he stopped, 400b would make link one of the most valuable companies on the planet, and worth twice as much as BTC itself. It simply can't happen unless the dollar becomes worthless. A valuation of $5b is already enormous and is testament to how many people are buying and hodling, but not an accurate valuation of the underlying business.
