Instead of having to enter each and every trade you did (Bought 100 of T, Bought 40 of KO, Sold 1000 of TTNP,etc) through out the year you enter just a one time figure showing your total gains, your total losses and and some other shit I forget about now. It's all labeled and shit just like you do for your W2 information or when you enter your savings account interest earned. Easy, quick and far better than having to each one manually. If you've done a shit load of trading this will seem a godsend come tax time 2021.
