The eth network going down literally happened, also gas fees being ridiculously high, also happened all day. It definitely sucks, the timing could not have been worse but the team has been open with communication this entire time, even as the exploit happened during the initial launch, nothing during this has felt scammish. Please take a look at eth gas fees the devs have stated multiple times they have to wait for the fees to go down, shit is 229 gwei for standard speed at the moment, its actually getting more expensive as the night goes on, it was 150 gwei for trader speed earlier.

The things you are saying are definitely legitimate concerns, however....these concerns were addressed by the dev team BEFORE anyone even raised a question, they have been on top of answering questions and keeping everyone informed of what is going on. Their last update was basically please wait for the gas fees to go down so we can run our security checks and then we launch. Now we are waiting for the next announcement for the official time.
