A Zig Forums seed round

Hi Zig Forums

Let me say right off the bat that this is a thread for anons with 6-7 figs in crypto, who generally speaking consider themselves 'lone wolves' and are not a part of any of those insider telegram/discord groups so they generally don't get a shot at good deals.

I want these people because:
1. They have a longer time horizon, and can tolerate locking capital for a while.
2. They don't come with the baggage of (frankly) psychopathic 'insider' types would would fuck their mother over for a quick flip.

To cut things short, we always see 'new uniswap listings', and we're rightfully skeptical of them. By the time we see them, it's either 1. a rug, or 2. is a token which had 'seed' investment a year ago, and the founders just want to dump on us. I’m working on a project at the moment which has potential to create a lot of buzz, but as with anything, I want to make sure it's worth my time. To do this, I want to build a list initial contributors. How you guys contribute is up to you. You either fund development directly, buy the product, or commit a certain amount of capital to a whitelisted presale on a bonding curve (at a 10x discount of the last buyers).

I want to spend a couple of weeks working on something in secret, with feedback from the closed group. The initial members effectively become the seed investors, I'll build the thing, and then we do an ICO direct to biz on a bonding curve which rapidly increases the cost of the asset. At that point, the system should be interesting enough for others to jump on the boat, and by the time it hits mainstream CT, biz should be all cashed out and we can leave CT to do the high risk trades.

To be clear, I'm not proposing a rug pull. This will be a legit project. I don't want to dox myself, but I have lots of experience building enterprise software, and I think it should be possible to release something which can turn a profit within 2 months, and also have enough viral potential to hit mainstream Crypto Twitter.

If you are interested, drop me an email at: [email protected]

Full disclosure, I’ll be looking to sell it for approx 200k-300k USD, which is not that crazy when you look at some of the projects which have raised 7 figures this year for farming (literal) memecoins.
This will include me operating and monitoring the thing/being around to answer question and debug any potential issues. I’ll be as interested to see it succeed as the rest of you, as it's something which will provide at least a few iterations of value if it takes off, and also provide me an invaluable CV stuffer for transitioning in to blockchain development fulltime.

Is this 2017?

Bro I’m not investing in some shitcoin ICO pre seed round. I just need a 2x to make it this bull run. You are suggesting financial suicide

This is the age of decentralisation. There enough big wallets out there to take a punt on novel ideas, and make a decent ROI.

There's literally zero reason we need to be leaving innovation to outside actors anymore, we can do it ourselves, and then WE are the insiders.

I hope to hear from a handful of you. I'll come back and bump once or twice for exposure.

gtfo here pajeet

See point 1. from "I want these people because"

I've been monitoring big wallet during this run, and I've seen criminal amounts of money wasted on farming memes. An user with a 3 million USD wallet has no problem committing 20k as a group of 10 to something like this, I'm sure of it. Some of them make 10k on farming meme tokens per day.

Not Pajeet, westerner (europe more exactly). If I don't get funding, I'm still launching it myself.

When I say 'myself', I actually mean I have a public group I'll be releasing it to, but I'd rather release it completely user as there are some legal particulars which I'd rather avoid if at all possible.

why do you need 100k investment?

>t. dude trust me

show us a working product first you scamming faggot

am working on product but am from the third world so I'd need around 10k funding
I'd doxx myself if it works but since one of the rules is no to self promotion what do you recommend
it's blockchain-based but no ICO or none of that shit

you are proposing a rug pull faggot kys and go back to your faggot discord tenant server cock sucker

>lone wolf
have fun staying poor, youre either in the group or youre not

i mean, why do you need 200k investment? you can deploy a contract and make a website for about max $300

so because you are from the third world you need ten fucking thousand US dollars up front. makes complete sense. man you really are the genius software dev you claimed you were. sent ;)

Because I'm going to be building it for another few weeks, and I want to know I have some funds ready to go in to the bonding curve. You don't even have to pay me directly, just agree to be the first in to the sale.

You'll see it, eventually, by then you may be paying a 50% premium though.

I'm already in one of those types of groups, but I'd rather not have them involved as I said before.

...
I did not say upfront
I legit asked since I'm working on a project would it be okay to ask here? since it's against the rules
read correctly man

I'll be footing the bill for hosting and running it, but in order to get the idea off the ground and self propagating I need to know that there are some whales ready to put Eth in to the curve.

I mentioned that only one of the options is buying the system from from (IE, you guys get set as founder addresses). Another way to benefit is being whitelisted to be first in to the sale and get 10x more tokens than the last buyer.

You're kind of hi-jacking the thread here my man, but if yours has no ico, then why do you need 10k?

My idea literally hinges on that first injection of capital

alright then good luck
I just need money for ETH transactions at first, some for hosting and hiring some devs
am working on this on my own and make 200$ per month so can't afford anything else

btw, to those wondering why I'm just asking for potential investors, I've also considered making a farming clone and using that fremium model to dump on others as many other teams have done, but I'm just not that type of person.

As a 4 figure user how can I benefit from this?
>tfw want to make it one day

Assuming I want to get in, at what stage am I going to learn what the project is about?

Be careful you don't get ripped off man. Coming from a dev, if you don't know the ins and outs of solidity development and what's possible vs not possible, you'll get ripped off by incompetent devs for trivial stuff.

Before setting in to this, I made sure I had 40k USD to keep me floating and paying costs for at least a year, which is about 10x the amount of time I anticipate this will take to get off the ground and prove/disprove the thesis.

poc or gtfo

I've worked as a solidity dev for two years
worry not about me
I won't hijack the thread, good luck

As per the OP, I'm going to shill this thing on biz first once the curve is live, and we'll also be setting up a discord to do a bit of community building around that time.

Feel free to email the protonmail in the OP and we'll add you to a list to get notified when we go live.

This is a question I keep asking myself. I'm slightly paranoid the idea will be taken, so I want to get the list of people together first, and then divulge details of product once it's finished. That way, if people get cold feet, we can still launch a week later and let it run regardless.

It's a fair point, a proof of work sort of thing. I also have incentive to get the thing finished before taking money (if it comes to that) as per my reply in

I didn't mention in the OP either, but I have relationships with some big hitters on CT, and also a very dedicated and capable community manager who's going to quit his job once this thing goes in to full swing.

Obviously everything is a gamble, but with BTC on it's way to potentially an ATH by christmas, the timing on this will be perfect I think.

>I didn't mention in the OP either, but I have relationships with some big hitters on CT, and also a very dedicated and capable community manager who's going to quit his job once this thing goes in to full swing.
Yeah I was kinda with you until now, but this is bullshit. If this was real you'd just get funding from them instead of begging on biz.

That's the plan. But I really don't want to have to deal with them. I'd much rather be user until the end of the project, and then disappear.

The contracts are not going to have admin keys, so once the first iteration is a success I'll be open sourcing the UI and letting it go on its way.

If the model proves to be a success, we'll likely see forks/clones anyway, but if it gets to that point, then the initial members have already made it.
