There is no other DEX that can perform lightning swaps. Not a single one. Stakenet DEX is the only project capable of this feat as they build this tech from the ground up. Other 'dexs' wish they could be what stakenet has already built.
A lot of other projects claim to be a superior 'dex' but are severely lacking.
Take Nash for example, in their terms and conditions they state that they can freeze user funds are any time......... With Stakenet you control the private keys.
Eli Morgan
Many other 'dexs' rely on sidechains or wrapped assets such as avax. This is a far inferior method to layer 2 as sidechains and wrapping does nothing to reduce onchain network congestion and with wrapping you have 'trust' the entity wrapping the assets to do the right thing.

Have a look at this webm, this is a proof of concept native BTC/ETH swap. This PoC was made several months ago to show that native swaps between BTC/ETH is possible through lightning + raiden.
Fudders will tell you that cz doesn't care about this project but that is untrue. Stakenet keeps cz up at night as he as regular nightmares regarding xsn. See pic related. No, you had about 3 years to buy faggot.
The above post is some great resources for anyone who would like to DYOR. Checked again.
Pic related is a new ATH for the number for masternode. That means the amount of XSN locked up in nodes has also hit an ATH, despite the poor market conditions this is great news for stakenet as it shows that people are interested in the project.
Bitcoin and eth will not go anywhere without layer 2 solutions. We've seen in 2017 and the mini defi run recently that onchain congestion skyrockets with only a small amount of usage. This has to be dealt with or crypto will not be usable. Stakenet aims to solves the congestion problem by using layer 2 methods such as lightning and raiden. Not only is stakenet far ahead of ALL competition but they are also helping the wider crypto space prepare for the upcoming GBR by adopting and making these L2 solutions usable.
This webm shows the SIMPLE SWAP UI to buy LTC with BTC, as you can see the order also shows up on binance. Stakenet has an aggregator technology they developed called VORTEX.
All in all, stakenet is the only team developing layer 2 with a working product. They have vast experience from working with other team/projects such as litecoin and raiden.
Assuming ETH 2 comes out by EOY 2021 and DeFi/wBTC gives Lightning BTC a run for it's money, guess who's selling shovels and pick axes? The interop bridging platform that can communicate with both of them.

>DeFi/wBTC Won't wrapped btc be limited to onchain? And having to rely on who wraps it?
Kayden Jenkins
Kyc?
Andrew Allen
Kmd did this in 2018...
Jeremiah Hughes
No kyc. I don't believe so, show me the proof.

It's definitely got some limitations compared to LN BTC. The only reason I bring it up is that there's a healthy level of competition between proponents of LN and DeFi/wrapped assets. I remember articles bragging about how there was more BTC in wBTC than LN about a year ago. XSN, being capable of native interoperability both, stands to benefit the most imo. Doesn't KMD do layer 1 atomic swaps though? I remember when AtomicDEX came out. It looked really cool, but I haven't heard a lot from those guys in awhile.
Yes world first atomic swap done on Komodo years ago. This was before lightning was invented though so can can do that. The price of just goes to show you no one gives a f*** about technology.

I hope steaknet succeeds but it doesn't look like it right now. I'm here to make gains not invest in experimental technology and you should be too.
Robert Robinson
I respect KMD. AtomicDEX was definitely a big step forward for accessibility. It was a lot easier to use than some of the older DEXs but it ultimately ran into the same problem that a lot of L1 DEXs did with low liquidity. In late 2019, I was expecting to hear a lot more from them in terms of developments but it's gone somewhat quiet. I wish them well. I disagree user. The L2 model XSN has been building on all this time only becomes more and more relevant. ETH integration, BTC/ETH swaps, and a trustless bridge between BTC and ERC20s (inc. stablecoins) is pretty massive. Once this is implemented, it should be relatively easy to add additional coin pairs. Some of us want to make Stakenet DEX the definitive LINK exchange as EtherDelta and IDEX both suffered unfortunate fates.
You make gainz by investing in new tech that will be adopted. I think layer 2 is the correct way forward in crypto because of onchain congestion. Stakenet is st the forefront of this tech hence why i own xsn.

Add to that, it looks like Uniswap is down right now.
