No idea, I can't imagine it's great news for their reputation. I have some OGN myself but not enough that I'd pink if it hit 0. Was mostly a "just in case it moons" bag.

I just have this strange faith that it will moon. To me this reeks of whale manipulation to cause a slight dump (in OGN, obviously OUSD is temporarily fucked) in order to accumulate massive amounts of OGN before and during the pump to new ATH, which is inevitable

apparently this has happened to a lot of other coins? I bought some OGN earlier this year and have just sat on it, haven't been actively trading or paying attention to crypto space. What exactly is a flash loan attack?

In a simple description: A flash loan is when you borrow money from a lender (AAVE, DyDx, etc), submit a trade, and then return the money you borrowed in the same transaction (keeping any profits). As for a flash loan attack, it's usually targeting part of a currency's code that would allow it to drain the coin's liquidity. It's usually through arbitrage with other coins, afaik. If somebody wants to correct me that's fine though.

real question is why is OGN pumping during this?

I hope you didn't have money in OUSD. I've been holding a lot of OGN for months now. I really don't want to sell in that I believe this could be a great project, thought this had massive moon potential.
