Sometimes I feel like the trends in the world can be explained by the increasing availability and growing social acceptance of short term gratification.
100-200 years ago you'd have to go out to have sex and you'd have to keep it under wraps or fuck a hooker in a back alley. On top of that you had culture and religious institutions enforcing monogamy.

Prostitution is never going to be legalised. OnlyFans, Tinder, pornography, etc. flourish because men have become overexposed to sexual impulses and are habitually sexually frustrated in modern society.
