Yes.

If you can assimilate into other states properly and not be a massive fag about everything you’re welcome to move. But if you’re a avocado toast millennial-Zoomer coomer with no social skills stay in your containment state everyone else has to suck dick to get by they don’t want to have to put up with another asshole

bro do you surf?

Yes. Only transplants move out and /pol talks shit cause they can't afford to live here. Transplants are moving to Texas in droves so CA will be that much more comfy.

Rent is expensive for a reason. After everyone goes homeless all the luxury apartments will be real comfy.

Los Angeles is just getting started in the renovation. It's seriously picking up. If it wasn't for covid.

I don't think I would live in California. Weird state

Only if you're so rich you never need to leave your property

I am unironically a millionaire living in California (believe me or don't, I don't care). To answer your question, no. I will absolutely leave the instant I have enough to full-on retire.

I've been to over 40 states California is the best

It's not fun if you aren't rich or at least have a good job.

Just live outside in the suburbs or something. Neighborhoods and community are beautiful outside of the shithole that is central LA.

Weather is great for one

If you enjoy taxes

Imagine following brogan's mass exodus out of here because of joolywood

Yeah if you live in a gated community.

san diego is really nice

Bitch, Maine has a massive opioid and lumberjack lesbo crisis

Fuck that midget acromegaly bastard for speeding up the destruction of Texas.

Here's the secret of CA - the property taxes are really nice. Not only are they relatively cheap, they get locked in when you buy. My grandpa bought his house in the 50s and still was paying 50s taxes on it.

>"Proposition 13, adopted by California voters in 1978, mandates a property tax rate of one percent, requires that properties be assessed at market value at the time of sale, and allows assessments to rise by no more than 2 percent per year until the next sale. "

One reason living here is cool if you're rich.

Curious about this too....planned on using my RSR gains to finance a Netflix movie I’ve been cooking up

Well don’t cocktease, tell us the movie

Orange county is amazing if you can afford it.

I've lived in 5 different parts of CA and the answer is a hard no. I've travelled a fair bit across the country and there are far comfier and more affordable places with better amenities like food, outdoor activities, beaches, people, you name it. Californians love circle jerking to this place because they've seen so little outside the state. I love parts of CA but no, it's not THE place to be.

HONK HONK

If you have some money you can rent homes out for some passive income to offset your own home price or just hodl since properties rise to high prices for some good gains...

Bought 2 duplex homes so far..

Home 1 ... 10yrs ago for 260k ... 1610 a monthcurrent rent prices 1700 for the big one and 1100 for the smallone
After utilities and upkeep profit is 700
Currently worth 480k

Home 2 ... 5yrs ago 530k (also just refinanced last month ) worth 760k .. 2669 a month ... current rent prices unit 1 $1800 unit 2 $1800 same sizes both .. after utilities and expenses profit is 650 ..

There’s no limit you can go so on and so on if you have the money.

Your larp makes no sense because you would just leave now and retire sooner

I'm too young to retire (and I mean full retire - no dicking around with real estate, etc.), unless I move to a third world shithole. I need $5MM+, or a compromise on my lifestyle I'm not willing to make at this point.

no, you're better off going somewhere people treat others like humans.

Nah, PNW or Japan

California is only worth living in if you're rich. The only reason not to live here is if you're a poorfag or you don't like seeing minorities.
