Ironic thread edition, I was just about to ask about Yugoslav silver. I can’t find any 1930’s silver 100 Dinara on eBay, just cupro-nickel and these Olympic proof coins from the 80’s isn’t my thing. Where would I be able to find a silver one from the 30’s? And is there any other royal Yugoslav silver coins?

Your question was actually the inspiration for the Edition. I did some more research: the coin you see pictured there is a 50 dinara, the last circulating silver coin in Yugoslavia. It was minted into the late 1930s. Prior to WWI, there were other lower denominations of Silver coins and even some Gold ones.
