Welcome to XMR General, dedicated to the discussion of the world's leading privacy-coin! Because Monero is secure, low-fee, and borderless, people can easily send money despite corrupt and broken governments or banks. This provides economic empowerment of individuals in oppressive countries or depressed economies. Private financial history protects consumers and companies from price manipulation, supply chain exploitation, economic discrimination, or the like. Monero is the only cryptocurrency that has the features to serve as completely fungible, decentralized, electronic cash. If you're new, feel free to ask any questions you like and a Monero Chad will be with you shortly.
Does something like monero exist for smart contracts?
Michael Moore
cant figure out if monero fan, monero rep, or fbi

generating ZKP's for a smart contract would be incredibly resource heavy. I remember reading a write up on it a while back. Tari isn't quite a smart contract platform, but it has tokenized assets at least. I'm not seeing much besides papers proposing ways it could be done, I'm sure there are a couple projects in the works
Literally LINK, their oracles can input data into a secret contract and confirm a secret contract was executed without revealing anything about its contents.

xmr is a solid hold not a moonboy coin

If you are buying coins for gains other shit coins will outperform XMR, even the biggest of monero Chads wouldn't disagree with that but XMR is more than just gains. Unironically the coin of the great reset

yeah looks like the pressure is finally getting to the ratio. might be a monster week.
what are my monero chads doing for short term (3 month span) trades? If we continue to struggle and stay in the 0.007 range, I will just continue to DCA each month as usual. However I think we are going to shoot up past a previous yearly BTC ratio high and test the 0.013 - 0.02 range before a healthy market wide correction (I believe Bitcoin will go down to ~10k, thereby taking the entire market with it). i'm marking 0.013, 0.015, 0.018, and 0.02 as selling points on the ratio. overall if this BTC ratio ends up really kicking I'm looking to trade ~20% of my Monero stack into Bitcoin, and then as the ratio corrects I'll go back into Monero, thereby adding to my stack. Worst case scenario I'll hold some Bitcoin. Best case scenario I'll can add a decent amount to my Monero stack if the Btc ratio drops again below 0.01. I'll of course be trading on the way down as well to hedge against risk.

should I mine XMR?
David Morales
>what are my monero chads doing for short term DCA as always assuming you have a decent pc you can mine XMR (cpu) and ETH (gpu) and simply convert your ETH to XMR
if you put in the research with building a rig and how much the electricity would cost, then yeah you can definitely turn a profit within a few years.

Sounds like a good plan, although I feel like if we reach 0.013-0.2 I wouldn't be too sure about going down again. I for one have all my stack in xmr and it's staked so I'm not looking to do daily trades, just sitting comfy checking the market periodically.
