1. General purpose is my man gripe, smart contracts as a whole are general purpose - it's selling a non-feature.
2. DAOs have terrible track records with participation and the average holder is low IQ.
3. Recyclable - Marketing speak for modular. This is how smart contracts are built in general nowadays - not a selling point for me.

It's different chad. We are constantly seeing big new projects with some faulty, untested and vulnerable microservice get hacked, and either be totally abandoned or forked in some arduous way. If what you were saying were true, YAM for example never would've have had to fork; it could've just removed the leaky part and replaced it with a different one. DFOhub LEGO contracts are different, far more secure, upgradable and accessible than the shitty open zeppelin etc. ones still being used today.

As for your point about governance, of course there are going to be retards out and about deploying and mismanaging DFOs. But that isn't a fundamental problem with the tech, and we'll see organizations made of intelligent holders too. I think your concern really lies with the uncompromising decentralization of DFOs, something that crypto culture actually venerates but which the Italians have actually made possible with their governance model

What have they deployed that has actual complex state interactions between the lego pieces? Modularity is good, no doubt, but I feel they're shilling design decisions as something revolutionary. Proxy contracts with isolated (as isolated as is possible) subcontracts aren't something novel. Larger projects have complex interactions by nature.
