Wish you all the best and hope you find a way to make things work, treasure the few you do have who really love you and such. THAT SAID you deserve to be fired if you call in for being sad, and if you think that's wrong then consider really committing yourself and risking things on alternative income arrangements where you have control over your life. When you get a job you're agreeing to fulfill specific responsibilities regardless of how you feel. Maybe that's not for you. That's ok, of you can find a way to live that is for you.

Did you claim a depression diagnosis on your disability forms when you were hired? Do you have a depression diagnoses? You might be able to sue them for violating the americans with disabilities act.

This is true but not for good reasons. I took some last yea and I now have gastro issues and (most likely permanent) erectile dysfunction now. Ironically I am even more depressed as a result

I took setraline as well, mind you I had to take lower dosages (50mg and 100mg) before I could take 200mg and I would immediately get diarrhea after taking each capsule. Therapist said I had to "bear with it" did this for like 2 months,gave me other drugs afterwards that didn't work either. I eventually stopped going as l lost faith

Why would you not call out for a "personal" reason. Honestly though if you got fired for this then its for the best. Ive worked at tons of places in an office setting and have called out so many times and just say I'm not feeling well enough to work. They don't care as long as you don't abuse it and have sick time/pto to use.

Took Wellbutrin for a couple of months and it made me feel worse. Stopped cold turkey and now I feel kind of numb. I think I hurt myself by not weening off.
