If I make it I plan on taking pilot courses and will get my own bird. I like planes

Take the trebuchet pill and let your house fly.

VSTOL pilot fag here, can confirm all planes can up-diddly-up-up, down-diddly-down-down, left-diddly-left-left and right-diddly-right-right, but some of them can do it without a forward thrust component!

They don't provide ideal living conditions though.

Semper Fly

>The average cost to build varies from about $35,000 to $55,000

I have a private train and railway. Much more exclusive than private jets.

I believe we’ve talked before, if you do have an eagle.
What’s up brotha?

Ya man that was me. And not much, flying weather has been garbage lately for vfr at least so I'm motivated to get my instrument ticket asap. That's a great looking cessna btw. You been flying?

Aerospace fag here
Maintaining aircraft can get awfully pricey
If you own an actual jetliner thousands and thousands of dollars to maintain.

Yeah let's just ignore running costs OP.
Hope you have an A&P license or can pay an aerospace mechanic.

> thousands

For a light GA airplanes maybe lol. Jets are obscenely expensive.

retarded waste of money

What if you bought a private jet instead of a van to just permanently live in, like really just keep it parked at some lonely airstrip and just eat, sleep and chill in? It will cost about the same as a house depending on your model but still would be more luxurious and above all, it can fly.

>Yeah let's just ignore running costs OP.
Bruh, have you SEEN how much it costs to mow grass or replace a mailbox? Have you SEEN it? Bruh....

how

Yeah that's why I said thousands and thousands.
I work for Boeing and I see the cost of these parts that I'm making and installing.
Even basic shit costs a lot.

Pilots are the true Zig Forums hobby.
>Too pricey for plebs
>most pilots are white men, nigs and women cant figure out planes
>can bounce out of a riot by safely flying away to your private island
If you dont fly planes you are ngmi.

Buying a plane is like buying an expensive car except more retarded.
Prove me wrong.

>Boeing
Based, do you install the module that makes it nose dive and kill everyone?

That's not a module.
That's the programming fags' fault.
No hardware failed.
Blame the code monkeys
Infact, hardware failures basically never happen.
It's usally a maintenance guy fucking up or the airline not doing the proper scheduled maintenance.

Fucking Pajeets

The two crashes of the Max were pilot errors. Thirdworld countries cant train their pilots to figure out how to do stuff. Color me surprised.

I worked at an aircraft parts distributor. The salesmen at those kinds of companies are paid by commission and make fucking bank. It's insane how much money it costs to keep planes up to FAA standards.

The type certificate system is broken for sure. The FAA fucking sucks.
