Hey Zig Forums I use coinbase to trade cryptos right now and I fucking hate it. They have massive delays on monetary transfers and big fees, and they only "support" certain coins.

What does Zig Forums use? I want to get off this site.

So buys and sells via bank account are supposed to be instant, but the actual money transfer can take days?

The one positive thing is my bank trusts coinbase so everything is instant. I opened an account with kraken and the moment I transferred money got called by some HSBC pajeet to tell me it's suspicious and they aren't liable for fraud. I imagine money going the other way will raise a sar and another pajeet phone call.

They are not really stealing people's crypto are they? Or did their system get "overloaded" as in they shut it down to prevent people from cashing in at the top

I use Binance.us and have been without issues. It's a regulated exchange, so very secure, and with that comes verifications of you don't mind that sort of thing. Once you're verified, then everything is smooth. Let me know if you want to try so I can post my referral code.

they had some interface issue with balances displaying zero. if you sent a small amount of a coin to your wallet the display would fix itself

anybody use uphold? i got an account automatically made through brave and it seems alright. no comission on trades so there doesnt seem to be a catch

I do like the coinbase normie app. While doing my amazing job in retail banking I can buy and sell all kinds of different coins. There's even a little counter thing that goes up for Dai. Sometimes I watch it for hours.

Onramp from coombase, swap between a few wallets, use DeFi (or bisq) only from a vpn.

It seems Decentralized exchanges appear to be the only real option or local bitcoin if you feel safe with that.

was recommended bitstamp, it's pretty nice. started with coinbase but it wouldn't let me cash out. bitstamp has a higher min deposit and withdrawal but it seems better so far

Wtf kind of bank do you use? Why would they stop a wire transfer to an account with your name??

HSBC sent me a fraud text and blocked the transaction for £50 to coinbase.
