Got a shill from a KSM friend “check it out, 0chain (ZCN) is a top project, Oracle backing it frfr, etc”. Did my research and came across a recent Oracle Security tweet: twitter.com/OracleSecurity/status/1328496064270307328
"Lot of questions on #FileCoin and #Arweave. They target archive - We focus on consumer, enterprise - MUCH BIGGER MARKETS but can easily do archive." CEO 0chain
ZCN token is depending on Data going through the platform + hype -Focusing now on Decentralized Cloud Storage enterprise and retail -they develop Data marketplaces per roadmap and that's what we need to watch out for
how does it work this thing with data? how would this impact the token price?
Camden Hill
Asked team member in TG - no Ocean integrates with data layers to provide a marketplace for selling or renting out data, 0chain will have a marketplace for data providers and consumers to interact, primarily for files. It can be any dataset. It can be a picture, video, soundtrack, or a mongodB dump.
Technically, they share the same topic, but specialize on different things.

"The user typically locks tokens for a storage allocation as a future payment to the blobber, who is a storage provider on the 0Chain network, and the blobber typically stakes tokens on the network equivalent to their ask price for reads and writes. This lock-and-stake mechanism creates a proxy dollar equilibrium value on the network, which is a function of total data stored on the network and the speculative value of the token."
