Depends on the delta of them. For example I purchased PLTR 2022 $10 calls prior to earnings. The calls had a delta in the mid 80s if I remember correctly. Upon open next day I lost about 0.40 or 0.50 in value, but that was more due to the slight price decrease; it rebounded very quickly. IV crush affects calls and puts more with a short expiry. Calls and puts with a delta of 80 or more are hardly affected by IV crush especially on LEAPS.

anybody can throw up the same 200 hour SMA with a 10x keltner on their chart, user, look for yourself. look for stuff that is overall uptrending instead of downtrending if you zoom out. so far all of them except AMT look good, the question is just if/when they get to the bottom of the channel and what your FA on them is (how fundamentally solid are they and how strong their economic moat is).
if you want to go really long term just do the same shit but on the daily time frame. this is essentially a mean reversion strategy at the end of the day as well, so it works better with crabby value stocks instead of meme shit that spikes all over the place. the risk management is supposed to be that you can buy more if it goes down further to a certain degree and that worst case scenario you can just hodl (only going long) because you know they're solid fundamentally.
