Why do people talk about california being so expensive? You can own a fucking paradise mansion with no neighbors for 2.4m people make it sound like it costs a million dollars to live in the valley. I’ve even seen huge ass mansions and huge ass houses in the suburbs for 1.2m

You can buy nice places like for like 600k in some places in California, but the freeway structure does not benefit everyone. You’re looking at several hours commute to work, and you will live among crackheads.
Why the fuck would you ever want to live in California
you want to live in the hills? imagine driving up and down that shit everyday.
Won’t matter when you get burned in the fires anyway.
this amount of money barely buys you land and a house in Canada in a decent neighborhood
Only $2 million dollars? Let me get my checkbook!
It's called property tax, income tax. You should look those up and report back what those will cost you to live in a 2.4M house.
Ironically, property tax is really nice in California. It's the one tax that doesn't suck there. It also gets locked in when you buy to an extent, so if you keep your house in your family for a generation you end up paying very little.
Lynwood
Bell Gardens
South Gate
Get something around 650
cash out the computer magik moneyyyys
and buy a 3bed 2 bath
great places to live
jeje
I have never had more than $5000 in the bank
wtf. its 1% of your property value per year. Hows that nice?
Compare to other states, and combine with the amount getting locked in. After years inflation, you're not paying much at all.
Thank the boomers and their bullshit tax lock
“Only” 2.4M lmao just stop being poor bro haha just have more money!
i live in a deserted wasteland in the northeast with shitty winters and nothing around and it costs more
Kek
yeah but it only costs 1,2m for a decent mansion people make it sounds like it costs a million to live in a random tiny house far away from everything
Yeah. There are shacks that cost over a million in Silicon Valley and places like that though.
The homeless issue is a huge problem, especially in CA. I am hoping any great reset will help those struggling to find affordable housing.
No one deserves to not have a place to call home. Everyone needs shelter, food, family, and clothing.
What the fuck is wrong with your burger laws?? 1 procent of the price of the house? So if you live in your house for 50 years you have to pay 1. 2 million to the goverment to live in your own damn house?? You guys are actually insane, fucking insane.
In CA you have to pay less than 1% on the value when you purchased. So you pay less over time, not more. Property tax does suck, but it's not just a burger thing. Most places in the world have it.

Yeah dude, and California has some of the best in the country. In other places its based on the assessed valued of the property which changes every year, so if you bought a house for $200k 30 years ago its $1M now then you pay based on the $1M assessment
roads and fire stations don't just build themselves, user. We live in a society
Moron. Most of those people are exactly where they want to be. Give them homes and most will eventually wander away again. What we need are prison camps for them.
The homeless have started moving into my city lately. And they're not the friendly, down on their luck, homeless types. Not even the sad mentally ill but harmless type. They're insane tweakers that harass people walking by and commit crimes. Local business owner just got beaten up by one in an alleyway next to his shop. Shit's getting bad. I wish it were as simple as just giving them shelter, but like said, a lot of them don't want help.
Here we remove 30 percent of the value of the house before we pay this property tax but that is only 0.01 procent of that 70 percent evaluation, but the max ceiling to pay is 1000 usd. U guys are gjetting fucked in burgerland
Nah. You are guaranteed nothing in life. You deserve nothing.
>1000 max
Damn that sounds nice, guess we are getting fucked over.
I don't have 2m
All those things are also baked inside our income tax, you guys are gjetting raped holly fuck
>MY ROOOOOOOOADS
Not a single dollar has ever been put into roads
I can promise you that
Based and 21st century pilled
How about you fuck off to the Alaskan wilderness if you want your Galt fantasy? The rest of us are doing this thing called civilization. It’s worked pretty well for the last 10k years.
Yeah comfy, its should pay of owing property, not the other way around, it would almost seem better to rent in burger land, i feel sorry for u guys
lol based goblino
