Literally, and I mean that in the dictionary, literal sense of the world, absolutely nobody is still holding cisco stock they bought at the peak in 2000. Professional stock traders just eat the loss and apply that loss against their taxes on gains, so they don't care. Plus, they can wait a year and buy back in and ride it back up over time. Index funds also don't care they just adjust their holdings to match some index and they're fine.

The stock market doesn't work like crypto markets full of amateurs.

It's paying dividends 4 times a year, so even those who bought the top, are pretty much break even if still holding. But of course inflation should be calculated too..

making the mother of all bubbles here, elon

Can you get custom leaps that go out many years?

Why are muttoids so obsessed with Tesla. They're shit cars.

Better than your cars chang

>average of 3.5% increase in value each year since 2000 with quarterly dividends
not great, not bad. certainly underperformed for a company that dominates corporate networking/voip however.

t. retard who doesn't understand diversification or the beauty of ETFs.

what would 10,000 invested post tech bubble burst be worth today will all DRIP

I see tesla cars everywhere, even in oil country Texas. I don’t see any Chen cars. Also mobility as a service. Wait till Tesla gets starlink net access.

There are a ton of zoomers who jack off to Elon. They really think he's some kind of superhero. Eventually it will all pop. The company has only had a handful of profitable quarters (never profitable for the full-year), and that was only due to certain credits that they received. Commercial space travel won't really take off until most of us are long dead, too.

>7% inflation adjusted return!!!!
(if you use the kiked BLS CPI measure of inflation which dramatically understates inflation)

Chang makes actually better and cheaper cars.
You might've missed the moment where TikTiok surpassed Instagram, Xiaomi surpassed Intel, Hongqi surpassed Tesla .
China is the tech superpower now.

whats a good one that doesnt have a huge spread, ones ive been eyeing you have to pay like 8% over the market price in spread

That's because the (((entity))) is hiding behind China now. It could have released this tech 300 years ago while it was hiding behind the british empire or 100 years ago in the US.

cisco R&D is top notch, always innovate, the problem is the Chinese just copy everything and use there 20c a day wage to capture the market.

Enjoy losing everything with your dogshit active management strategy. If I were talking to you in person, I'd gladly have a bet with you to see which strategy yields the greatest returns over thirty years.

thirty years?
you had three

I'm talking about their dismissal of "time in the market beats timing the market."

Kys go buy your vanguard shite

VOO is my biggest holding and it will provide me great returns over the next twenty-thirty years. And I know that I'll come out ahead of you.

user there's nothing wrong with investing in stocks or having a retirement plan but please don't kid yourself over its effectiveness

Imagine believing this.
