>comparing the price of something to something else that's priced in USD
>not understanding that had BTC not pumped LINK would be in the gutter, it just means everyone is selling into BTC
Unironically ngmi
I haven’t heard of this shitcoin but that chart looks like a staircase to zero kind of chart
>had BTC not pumped LINK would be in the gutter
>it just means everyone is selling into BTC
So Link was saved from the gutter because everyone sold Link for BTC?
See what happens when you try to measure the speed of a moving car from another moving car?
You say retarded contradictory shit like that.
Linkies love getting dumped on by Sergei
Are you all new? Yes it is important to compare to BTC, it's the benchmark. It tells a lot if your investment is able to beat the benchmark or at least keep pace with it
>Yes it is important to compare to BTC, it's the benchmark.
But BTC itself is priced in USD. That's the benchmark.
If LINK is a shit coin why is he so heckin cute and valid?
Both info is relevant. Also, I'd go as far as to say that the eth pair is even more significant for link. Pic related, spoilers it looks terrible (and yes it's zoomed out it's a weekly)
>Both info is relevant.
Why?
>the eth pair is even more significant for link
Why?
get out
BTC isn't a benchmark it's just a shitcoin among others
>new?
2017 so new-ish, don't think BTC will stay king forever boomer
Holy shit imagine not buying this chart, this is free money even if you don't understand chainlink kek
Both info is relevant because from an investor point of view, if you wanted to invest in the crypto class of assets, you'd be looking for the best roi. Bitcoin so far has always been the best (on long time frames), so you'd want to see what asset is capable of beating it. By the way, Chainlink had been doing this during the whole bear market, and it is probably what drew investor's attention and money to it.
As for the eth pair, same thing but Zoomed in the smart contract sector. Also Chainlink is powering this smart contract ecosystem so it's growth should be correlated with it
What's bitcoin market dominance? It is the benchmark at the moment, whether you like it or not. Do not use your emotions for this
>Both info is relevant because from an investor point of view, if you wanted to invest in the crypto class of assets, you'd be looking for the best roi.
You want the "best ROI" regardless of what "class of assets" you're investing in.
You are an absolute brainlet.
Awful fucking scamcoin.
No, that shows you know nothing about investing. Different sectors have different correlations, you first take this into account in your strategic asset allocation, then inside these baskets you look for the best roi (over simplifying here but you get it)
>Different sectors have different correlations
lmao what the fuck is that even supposed to mean?
People with money tend to invest in a broad variety of assets: land, gold, art, securities, ...
And whatever performs best, they wish they invested more in.
ROI is ROI, regardless of "class of assets".
Hmm... are you saying LINK consistently shadows BTC's and ETH's surges?
Interesting.
Ok, not sure if trolling or retarded, read this
> you want the best roi
Not exactly, at least not professionals, they have a risk/reward target (that's called a benchmark) and they try to build a portfolio located on this efficient boarder.
For this they choose (not always but often) a variety of different assets in different sectors so that their ass is covered in case something goes wrong. That is where correlations matter (when stocks go up bonds go down, etc...). Do some reading. Of course this does not apply to your lmao all in my fav shitcoin or musk stock, but I'm sure you can understand that
I bought link @ 1000 sats. Fuck off nigger
Link almost doesn’t have BTC pairs. 90% of the volume is on USDT.
>> you want the best roi
>Not exactly
But that's what YOU said.
Everyone out there wants the absolute best ROI possible, but everyone also knows you can't get that unless you predict the future.
>when stocks go up bonds go down
lmao, sometimes they do, but other times they don't.
It's absolutely irrelevant.
What's your argument exactly? That I should panic when my investment is, on a small timeframe, losing against btc because "btc dominance"? What the fuck are you even trying to say?
I mean, look at the charts, Chainlink has been over performing them for a long time, this was really impressive. But looks like it lost its momentum now, it is close to making one of its first lower low on both charts on the weekly. How link will perform on these pir during this bull will be extremely important, let's hope it can still get it up.
Even if Link only had the BTC pair, it's still the USD value that matters.
Because BTC itself is valued in USD.
Best roi within the same sector
