I am wondering how it can be that the price goes up for the ADR and the price goes down for the Swiss stock today. What are the reasons for this. Shouldn't they have a correlation of almost 1?

I would highly advise against investing in Chinese stocks. Chinese stocks are unironically the most volatile stocks on the planet. Understand that the Chinese stocks are different than the rest of the world's stocks. If Xi feels like it, it can nuke a company off the face of the Earth and no one will say a word about it. BABA is the perfect example of this. Xi had a dispute with the owner of the company and Xi royally fucked the company over out of spite.
Chinese companies always follow this trend of making a lot of profit in one year. Then completely disappearing off the face of the map. That's the business cycle of China, don't fall for it.
