when there was 1st edition pokemon only, i gave out like ~100 cards to one disabled kid from my block. fuck money, he was poor and disabled always was coming to me when i was playing with his brother to ask me about manga and cards because we often pretend to play pokemon just looking at cards. he cried after i gave all of them to him. fuck being jealous about some cards, i ebayed most of my "toys" because i literally couldnt give a flying fuck.
its all just nostalgia, you wont be a kid again, you would look at those cards maybe once a year and put them in a closet/basement.
tried to look at retro games on youtube because i was about to order some retro consoles- i just couldnt believe that was at the time like peak of the fuckin graphics looks horrible it hurts my eyes.
but i was playing Metal Slug, Mario, Tekken2, Tekken3, Metal Gear Solid, Warhammer Dark Omen like a crazy kid.
also i didnt know about all the shit in the world, and life didnt happen.
would trade all of my shit and money, for being a kid again and just start over. life without a fuckin worry, no internet so i wouldnt know about all the pain and tragic events in the world, all the conspiracies.
