What about trezor?

I wanted to maybe dip in to the flare drop

>ledger
expect scammers texting and calling you and trying to hack your email.

I rotate burners bimonthly so whatever

im paying off a couple ups guys to give me all packages from ledger so i can swap their wallet out with my infected wallets
collected about 120k worth of crypto so far and only had to pay the ups nigs about 1k per ledger so 7k

Please don't live in the Grand Rapids area

You don't get it. They leak your name, address, payment information, email and phone number. At least that's what they did to me and all of their other customers. The cunts are still denying it.

As I said, I rotate burner identities bimonthly

Why not just go the paper wallet route?

bit of a hassle and there is no reason to assume that any particular printer is any more secure than a suspect hardware wallet. Unless you can source an early 90's inkjet or something.

you can have both

Ah, you're right.
Why not just develop your own public key from a random public key string in a dark room with a candle, a pen, and some paper?

What a coincidence

*private key string

How retarded is it to use a USB stick as a wallet?

how do i make a paper wallet

>candle

get back to me when you're up to 1930's key generation standards

that's not a hardware wallet. a hardware wallet obfuscates your private key by making sure it is never revealed to the computer its connected to. the hardware wallet signs transactions with the public key but the private key is never revealed. what you're describing provides zero benefit over just storing the wallet on your computer except portability i guess. even then just use your phone

boom least secure wallet ever

Karma is a bitch user

The average crypto doesn't want the Bourne lifesryle though, so maybe ledger isn't that good.

Also, ledger isn't open source, so when you use their product you have to trust the company to a certain extent. The same company that leaks your private data and denies it, or at mosts says sorry and tells you to stop overreacting.

There is a reason Ledger is offering such massive discounts.

Fuck man, I literally bought one two days ago.

How secure is just leaving stuff in metamask?

trezors software is open source but they could be compromised at the hardware level due to using STM32 chips
nothings certain

its a browser plugin, so who knows, easy to get phished or some malware could attack it

You can always format it it's compromised you won't be able to update it anyway.

Hardware wallet only weakness are retards falling for bait asking for their seed phrases online.

Won't they knew the shit is not genuine when they try to update the firmware using ledger live ?

>format the STM32
nah bruh. trezor uses a proprietary microcontroller for general operations including encryption. the NSA could have a backdoor or 0-day ready to go for these chips and we wouldn't know. you arent going to format it the issue away bruh

hardware wallets arent perfect but theyre convenient
