Alternative to coinbase?

I use coinbase but coinbase seems bad. Doesn't support a lot of coins. What does Zig Forums use and trust? Pic unrelated

Asuka is STINK!

Use Binance. Lower fees, a lot more trading pairs, and you can stake your coins. If you haven't registered yet, you can use this link for a further 5% discount on every trading fee:

Does binance support monero?

global binance does, binance.us does not
if you want monero and you're in the states, you can use Kraken or various non-KYC exchanges if you're paranoid

yes, you can also stake it (and redeem any time)

Yes, Coinbase needs some pajeet scams to keep things spicy.

Huh? Why why cant the states trade monero?

because we live in the land of freedom :^)

Use coinbased instead.

You can still use Binance with a VPN and by not doing KyC (you'll be limited to 1BTC worth of withdrawal per day)

I use it no vpn
No Fiat. BTC trades only

didn't they crack down on this recently?

I'm a noob what is kyc

verification of personal information, which so far is still optional, don't do that and don't say you are from thr US

But why is that something to be afraid of

The access to some exchanges is blocked if you are from the US due to stricter crypto regulations/tax purposes.

So basically I'm fucked if I'm in the us

not if you don't get verified, as I said here Another alternative is Uniswap, but it isn't friendly for new traders, search online for guides about it. You'll have to create your own wallet, I suggest Metamask, also buy a Ledger to store your private keys securely.

Coinbase is garbo except as an onramp and for their earn program

I was an early bird on binance and I still use it, but I'm thinking about moving my assets off in the near future.

KuCoin seems like a good alt now, they even have some coins that binance doesn't. If you do decide to go with them pls use my ref code: 1vg4HcP

Regardless of whatever exchange you use, I'd avoid giving any exchange your KYC info if you could help it. B

How do I avoid that when they all ask where I'm from?

Kraken

They actually didn't ask, though they do have IP addresses logged like any other exchange

In order to complete a kyc verification, you'd need to provide a photo ID and iirc, your social as well, much like you had to do for coinbase. Kucoin hasn't made that process mandatory however.

So far I've gotten away without doing that in coinbase. I can buy but I can't partake in any of the free programs

whoops worries my mistake i thought this was a thread about haircomb
you know the quantum resistant anonymous token on the bitcoin chain
but i can see thats not what y'all are talking about so i'll leave you too it my bad ttyl

pathetic non-bnb holder

44372379 gives you 15% off

CoinMetro is the future.

Coinbase, binance and uniswap are all you need.

Kraken or Binance US.
